JETSUN MILAREPA ๑ღჱܓ•♫♪• SONG OF LOVE AND COMPASSION

Heritage of Mankind

JETSUN MILAREPA : SONG OF LOVE AND COMPASSION

Homage to Buddha Vajradhara, Tilopa, Naropa, Marpa Lotsawa, Milarepa, Gampopa. May this noble offering of Visual Dharma, created for the anniversary of Jetsun Milarepa, be pleasing to the Buddhas of the past. By reflecting, praying, meditating, favouring, rating 5*, sharing, commenting & embedding your positive Light energy increases. Send the Song of Love & Compassion throughout the world and take part in the Heritage of mankind.
I. Alive Dharma : Any sentient being who has heard the name Milarepa even once and in whom it awakened veneration, will not be reborn in lower realms for seven life times. This was prophesied by the Buddhas of the past. Jetsun Milarepa (1040-1123) is the most revered Buddhist mystic, poet and yogin who never founded any monastery. His life was very difficult and lead him from one remore area to another in S Tibet. For most of his adult life he lived in caves, surviving on whatever he was offered by local villagers or grew round about. He was known and loved by the songs he composed and sang to the people which poetically expressed his insights into the truths of Buddha Dharma. His main disciples were his attendant Rechungpa and the physician Gampopa. With this Visual Dharma we pay homage to all-present Lama Jetsun, as he was called by disciples. He sang this Song to Geshe Tsakpuhwa at the village of Drin. Geshe handed to him text on Buddhist logic and asked for explanation, word by word. The Master replied : You know very well the conceptual meaning of this text. But real spiritual meaning is found in abandoning eight worldly reactions and the personal ego, through destroying false perception of reality by realizing the single flavour of samsara and nirvana and through meditating in mountain solitudeArguing over words and pointing out what comes after that is totally useless if one does not practice the Dharma. I never studied logic. I know nothing about it and if I ever did, I forgot it now. I will tell you why. Listen to this Song. Thus he spoke and began to sing the Song of Love and Compassion. His spiritual Songs are timeless, but his advice is contemporary. His words arose spontaneously while listening the Sound of the Universe, as portrayed here. His Blessings pervade everywhere so that we can still listen to his Songs while turning our attention inward. This great joyful Song is accompanied by the mystic dance of the Dakini, the Sky Dancer. Milarepa can truly teach us what Faith and devotion mean : praying from the great energy of naturallness. His meditational deity Chakrasamvara liberated him from he coarse world of the senses . Those who practice secret mantrayana don´t debate. They don´t engage in doctrinal polemics & in pleasing unvirtuous relatives and friends. Have compassion, but no emotional hang-ups toward them, is Jetsun Milarepa´s advice. Contemplate that which is uncompaunded like the Sound*Light of Dharmata, as the Master did in the solitude of Himalayas. Your body is monastery , a temple. Respect it always beccome a vegetarian and save the planet !
II. Questions & answers : HH the Dalai Lama said when he answered questions in Dharamsala, Nov 2009 :
Is it permissible for Buddhists to eat meat ? The best is to give up meat completely. Festivals and ceremonies in all Tibetan monasteries & nunneries should be completely vegetarian.
Is it better to pray in one´s own language or in Tibetan ? It is better to pray in one´s own language.
P-S. Visual Dharmas are great help in this regard they have English translations .

3.1. BUDDHA MAITREYA´S GIFT OF TRUTH TO ALL WHO SEEK TRUE LOVE is published to benefit all beings. Wherever this Visual Dharma is played it will bring positive energy to the place and all beings who respect Buddha´s precious Teachings. All Visual Dharmas are empowered with the practice of the self-liberated Sound of Dharmata . General information about embedding and comments are published in the Gift of Truth.
It is very auspicious to play this Visual Dharma also at engagement ceremonies, marriage ceremonies or at such anniversaries, to be reminded of the qualities of True love.
BUDDHA MAITREYA is the fifth spiritual Guide, the fifth Buddha who will be born into this world from the Tushita. He will continue the Teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni. Already now we can nurture in ourselves the spiritual qualities of Buddha Maitreya´s True love. True love is unselfish and giving, shining like the sun. True love brings peace, wisdom and the tears of deep appreciation. True love is expression of our innate Buddha nature. In Buddhism we also call it authentic compassion and Bodhicitta. True love can create miracles because it is uncreated and timeless. True love is blessing which need to be deeply appreciated and nurtured by everyone. Because of True love ancient artists created wonderful works of ancient art. Because of True love contemporary artists create contemporary contemplative art — Ars sacra. True love is sacred. Poets try to express it with Words of Wisdom. Painters try to paint its shining forms and colours. Scientists try to explore its unmeasurable deepness. Astronoms try to find it in deep — space – galaxies.
Astrologers try to calculate it in natal and partnership charts. Politicians try to make it obvious during their campains. Priests try to devotedly worship it in the name of God. And lovers try to express it on Valentines day by offering flowers and heart whispering. But everyone knows that True love is Bliss and a miracle ! I am so grateful to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who always pray for us all with their True Love. I am so grateful to Bodhisattvas who because of this True love toward all sentient beings incarnate again and again : to show us the Path of Liberation and Enlightenment. Let us follow on their footsteps of True love.
WAKE UP TRUE LOVE IN YOURSELF —
WAKE UP THE SLEEPING BUDDHA. As it said in MO Divination system of venerable Mipham Rinpoche : DHI PA Female Golden Fish :
Because one bathes in nectar, ones happiness increases. May everyone endevour (True love) in accordance with ones wishes, intentions and aims. Two golden fishes is ancient Buddhist symbol, representing the liberation from samsara. It is one of the Eight auspicious signs (Skt. Asta Mangalam).
PRACTICAL INSTRUCTION :
Only speaking about Enlightenment and True love is not enough . Put your True Love into action :

1. Give up eating meat, drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes or even drugs. Don´t stay in rooms where people smoke!
Support the laws which forbid smoking, if such laws don´t
already exist in your country. If you live in area where air is polluted (like in the most cities and settlements), use air ionisers in your apartment and at working place.
Detoxify your body energy with the help of Buddhist wholesome Medicine, esp. high quality extracts of medicinal herbs and wholesome vegetarian diet. Keep cleanliness of your body and your immediate environment on high level. This is approach of Buddhist Kriya yoga. Pure outside elements (space, air, fire, water , earth) support your inner pure elements . Connection between them is part of precious Atiyoga/Dzogchen Buddhist Teachings. As educated human being you must be aware of the international day against violence toward women (November 25). Much of violence toward women is because and in the name of alcohol, drugs and eating meat. It is well known fact of science (neurobiology) that a man who drink alcohol can experience woman only at the level of root chakra (sexual chakra), seeing her only as a desirable sexual object without any spiritual dimension. This is disrespectful toward women!
(Note:It is wrong to think that one only need to stop drinking, eating meat or  using drugs : one must be successful in purifying ones body. Without detoxifying ones body poisons are part of every cell! Material karmic body influences your way of thinking.
There are many published scientific studies about the relation between the body and mind. ) In Vajrayana Buddhist view  men and women are equal and have sacred outlook of themselves. As successful Vajrayana Buddhist practitioner one see oneself as a Wisdom Deity with whom one has special connection.

Buddhist tantras give very little practical instructions about controlling and transforming sexual energy. Very beneficial knowledge also for all Buddhist Vajrayana  meditators.

3.2. Questions and answers :

nutier France

Dear venerable  , please enjoy my questions , thank you .
In the immaterial world , the highest in these realms , the pure abodes  are accessible only to those who have attained to ” non-returning ” , the stage of Arahantship . It consists of four realms that are the abodes of those who pass away while meditating in the formless jhanas .
Q.149 – If one attains ” non-returning ” , does he go directly into Nirvana after death ?
After attaining non-returning there are still many stages of the Bodhisattva path leading to complete Enlightenment. These stages can be accomplished in one, three or many more lifetimes of diligent, devoted and authentic Dharma practice . It is useless to discuss these stages – if one is not yet vegetarian. To avoid eating meat, drinking alcohol and keeping pure precepts of Buddha Dharma is path of sila or self-discipline, leading to Samadhi and prajna (wisdom of discernment).

Q.150 – In Buddhism , when we die , our minds change instantly to other corps . How can the immaterial beings get lives if they haven’t the corps ?
After death the consciousness (mind)  does not change immediately to another body (as you said). There is period of 49 days or the bardo state. Beings in the bardo state wander around in search for realm where they will incarnate again. Virtuous or unvirtuous karma and tendencies are leading their wandering.

Q.151 – If Arahant is the name of Buddha , how long he was here before to be reborn as Siddhartha ? Previous lives of Prince Siddharta are well described in the Jataka tales. As all of us also the Buddha had infinite lives , before he descended to human realm from Tushita heaven.
Q.152 – Is  Bodhisattva a former buddha’s name in Tusita heaven before becoming Arahant in immaterial world , or in reverse ?
May peace and happiness be upon you always !  nutier

Bodhisattva is not the name only for a Buddha while He was on the path of Enlightenmnet. Bodhisattva is the description for any Buddhist meditator who has the Bodhisattva vow, who has Bodhicitta of aspiration and application.

To understand this please study about the Mahayana path .

May you always experience  peace and happiness, dear Friend  of Buddha Dharma. Your many new questions will be answered in next teachings.

Penetration of Sound root tantra

Homage to primordial Buddha Samantabhadra*Samantabhadri,

Lineage holder of intentional lineage of Nyingma Vajrayana Buddhism,

Teaching through the Vajra Speech of unseparable Sound*Light of Dharmata.

i.As presented in the Visual Dharma: Nyingma Vajrayana Buddhism there are three lineages of transmission of pure Dharma in ancient times and also now. With direct introduction to Sound*Light of Dharmata (Chönyid kyi rang dra) the meditator contemplates the samadhi of Sound as taught by accomplished Atiyoga master Vimalamitra . Tulku Thondup says about  the Mind transmission : “Samantabhadra, the dharmakaya, transmitted tantric teachings to the sambhogakaya Buddhas who are inseparable from him, through Mind transmission without any verbal or physical expression. In reality the dharmakaya does not express anything, but for the sambhogakaya Buddhas the tantric transmission appears from the dharmakaya spontaneously. This is known as the transmission between the Buddhas.” (1) Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche II (1904-1987) teaches about three lineages of transmission  (2) : “According to our special tradition there were three great descents of the teachings (of the secret mantra tradition). It says in the exegetical tantra of the Oceanic Magical Net : the intentional, symbolic and aural lineages are respectfully those of the Conquerors, bodhisattvas and yogins. That is to say, the three lineages to be explained are : intentional lineage of the conquerors, symbolic lineage of awareness holders and the aural lineage of mundane individuals.”

This lineage : Chönyid kyi rangdra or Natural Sound of Dharmata has origin in Dra Thal Gyur root tantra of Dzogchen Upadesha . Master Vimalamitra is the only one who wrote commentary on Dra Thal Gyur tantra or Reverberation of Sound .Vimalamitras commentary is preserved at Khatok monastery in East Tibet . REVERBERATION OF SOUND is the root of all Buddhist Dharma . Reverberation of Sound (Dra Thal Gyur) is connected to 16 other Dzogchen Upadesha tantras . We need to see this display diametrical as a cicle , not horizontal . DRA THAL GYUR tantra in the centre and names of 16 other Upadesha tantras around .

“The Mind transmission of the buddhas of three times is known as a transmission through blessings – naturally perfect blessings of all buddhas of the past and the future and of those who reside in the present. Independent of articulated words this transmission is understood and realized through the natural Sound of Dharmata.” Wellspring of the great perfection – The lives and insights of the early masters , compiled and edited by E.P. Kunsang, The Twelve Dzogchen Buddhas , An excerpt from the great history of the Heart Essence , part One belonging to the instruction section Cycle of the Heart Essence of Vimalamitra , pg 119. Rangjung Yeshe Publications. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Seventeen-Tantras-of-Ati-Yoga-Dzogchen-Upadesha/100283213391348
To maintain Mind transmission / Blessings of the Buddhas through the Natural Sound of Dharmata (Tib. Chönyid kyi rangdra) there are A-ti Yoga retreats at special places , supporting Contemplation / Samadhi.
๑۩۞۩๑ ཨ ཨ ཨ ๑۩۞۩๑

ii. Intentional lineage of the Conquerors (Jinas, Buddhas) is essential and unobstructed Dharmakaya, primordial purity of voidness, unseparable from Rupakaya (Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya). These three lineages must be understood in non-gradual way.

Let´s give a symbol : intentional lineage of the      Conquerors is the essence of the shining diamond.

Symbolic lineage of the awareness holders – bodhisattvas is the Light  revealing mandalas of peaceful and wrathful deities, emamated from Samantabhadra*Samantabhadri Buddha. Aural lineage of yogins are the rays shining from the diamond. Without the essence of that diamond which is natural Sound*Light there are no emanations of Light.

As Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche wrote: “Intentional lineage of the Conquerors is the speech of the Buddha-body of reality. It says in the Penetration of Sound: Thus in the celestial expanse of reality, there appeared natural Sound, blessed by the speech of the great All-pervader (Samantabhadra, Khyab-´jug). “ (3)

Thinley Norbu Rinpoche also describes three lineages of transmission :”Transmission of the Wisdom Mind of the Buddhas ( Tib. rGyal.ba dgongs.pahi brgyud.pa), the Lineage of the “Transmission by the Signs of the Vidyadharas” (Tib. Rig.hdzin brda.yi brgyud.pa), and the Lineage of “Oral  Transmission of Superior Individuals” (Tib. Gang.zag snan khung .gi brgyud.pa).” (4)

iii. Thus the Penetration of Sound (sgra thal-´gyur rtsa-baí rgyud) is the root (tsa-wa) tantra (rgyud) of Ati Yoga upadesha (Managde) and it should be always understood as first of Eighteen Dzogchen Upadesha tantras and not the way around. Penetration of Sound is the Root (Tsa-wa) of all Buddhas Dharma. The one who introduces the meditator to the Sound*Light of Dharma-ta, is the root  Lama (tsa-wai Lama), your root spiritual Friend. This direct and natural introduction can be very unelaborated. Therefore it is simple, natural and direct. As such it must be appreacited and respected – in the same way as we appreciate and respect primordial Buddha Samantabhadra*Samantabhadri, Vajrasattva*Buddha Locana , Garab Dorje and all lineage masters. Direct introduction to the Sound*Light of Dharma-ta is supreme Dharma door : authentic Dharma practice to primordial wisdom (Jnana, Yeshe, 10th perfection). It is supreme gift – shining diamond on the palm of your hand.

iv. Practical instructions: our research shows that very little is known and published about Penetration of Sound root tantra of Dzogchen Ati Yoga . It is rarely even mentioned in Dharma studies and in articles on internet. This shows that the understanding of natural Sound*Light of Dharma-ta is weaker with every generation. Partly because of the fact pointed out already by Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche II. in his study: Harmful influences of tobacco and drugs. Such pollutants like tobacco and drugs, with contributing factors: bad air, unclean water, meat, poisons etc – close the central energy channel and diminish natural Sound*Light of Dharmata, our innate Buddha nature. Proper way to open the central channel is by purification and detoxifying the energy . Wellness formulas of our Buddhist Wholesome medicine serve this aim successfully.

v.Colophon : May this alive Dharma teaching awaken interest for something that lies undiscovered in you, waiting to be discovered : shining diamond of Buddha nature, visible*hearable as the Sound*Light of Dharma-ta.

3.1. Questions & answers Zedkr9 Malaysia

My name is Ron and I am a Chinese from Malaysia. Here, most Chinese are either Buddhists, Taoists or Christians. Only a handful of them are Muslims unlike the Malays who must be Muslims and cannot change their religion. We have all 4 schools of Buddhism here too, the least popular being Zen. I  find Tibetan Buddhism very fascinating but it is also very complex and complicating. I was told that we must not simply chant Tibetan mantras unless they are handed down to us by a Rinpoche. Why must all the mantras be so secretive? Aren’t they supposed to be open in order to help layman in need? Do you mind helping me clarify some of my doubts here?
Also, most of the centers… we don’t exactly get a chance to talk to the Guru. So what people do is simply join in and follow the chanting sessions only. Likewise, I don’t actually know the purpose of the mantras which I chant too. Since I am told to chant, I chant … and as you can see, I chant quite a bit too everyday without missing a single day. If I really cannot make it, then I will replace the following day.
The mantras I chant are…
1] Black Mahakala [Om Maka Kiya Laiya Sowaka] – stanza and mantra [1 Mala daily each morning on empty stomach – was told the mantra works more effective that way]
– I was also informed that after chanting this, our life would gradually improve and we will beable to do well financially. But so far, having chanted more than two years, my situation is still the same…sigh! That was the very first mantra I chanted. I started out just by chanting the stanza 3 times and then proceeded with the mantra for a couple of Malas before winding up chanting 25,000 times a day for a year without seeing any results! So eventually I reduced it to only 1 Mala a day.
2] Vajrasattva [1 mala daily every morning]
3] Avalokiteshvara [Compassionate Mantra] – 21 times daily
[Om Mani Padme Hum] – 21 Mala daily
4] Om Prom Svaha [21 Mala daily]
5] Mareichi [Om Mareichi Mom Svaha] – 1 Mala daily
6] Guru Rinpoche – 1 Mala twice dailyOm Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum
Du Sum Sang Gyay Guru Rinpoche Ngo Drup Kun Dak De Wa Chhen Poi Zhap
Bar Chhad Kun Sel Dud Dul Drak Po Tsal Sol Wa Deb So Jyin Gyiy Lap Tu Sol
Chhyi Nang Sang Wai Bar Chhad Zhi Wa DangSam Pa Lhun Gyi Drup Par Jyin Gyi Lob. May I know what Guru Rinpoche represents? What’s the purpose of reciting that mantra? Also, which Buddha’s mantra is Om Prom Svaha? I was informed that this is a very powerful mantra. Even those people who are insane can get well. But so far, I couldn’t find anyone to tell me who’s mantra that is… Could you kindly help me out? Would certainly like to get a piece of your advise…Thanks .Regards. Ronnie

Answer : Dear Friend  of Buddha Dharma, it is nice to hear that Buddhism is living spiritual path & religion  also in Malaysia.  The term Tibetan Buddhism is wrong- correct name is Mahayana & Vajrayana Buddhism. When Tibetans were still in Tibet (until 1959) they did not think about themselves as Tibetan Buddhists. After many of them came into exile to India and when they began to spread the Dharma to other continents, this term: Tibetan Buddhism – became popular. But such name is misleading. Many schollars and even some  “Tibetan Lamas” agree with this. At Buddha Dharma we are practicing & teaching Theravada,  Mahayana & Vajrayana  Buddhist path. You asked for direct answer. My answer is from that perspective. Mantras that you chant come from Sanskrit , not from Tibetan. Buddhist mantras represent Enlightened Speech of Wisdom deities : it is much better to receive empowerment from qualified Buddhist master before you start with the recitations or to practice our Visual Dharmas diligently.  It is not only reciting of mantras , as you do – but also correct way of seeing (so called visualisation), breathing and physical posture. Nowdays mantras  are not secret at all , since they are publsihed in books and on internet . What is more secret is their meaning . Reciting of Buddhist  mantras can surely help you, but you must practice the Dharma with proper motivation. With proper motivation you must obtain Refuge to Three precious Jewels first. Then you must become a vegetarian, avoiding  drinking wine , using poisons . Five ethical precepts are explained in our Visual Dharma Buddhas´s Enlightenment.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNrxtDo-oaM

Buddhist mantras are not chanted for personal prophit , althouh one´s circumstances can improve. The aim is to proceed on the spiritual path toward liberation from samsara and to accomplish enlightenment. If you wish to improve your financial situation, reduce your expenses and don´t spend money for anything  harmful: cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, meat, games, eating junk food in restaurants.  Also write down all your expenses and make regular book keeping for yourself. Save 15-20 % of your monthly income. Donate some of this monthlöy savings to Buddhist  charity. For example: we have Buddhist school for orphan children in Nepal, lead by His Eminence Sagar Rinpoche. With donating to charity your merit/positive energy will increase.

To learn the meaning of mantras  which you chant daily, study description of our Visual Dharmas : Avalokiteshvara – Buddha of compassion – for mantra OM MANI PADME HUM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dC_8PMNp-s

Seven-line Prayer to Guru Rinpoche and Teaching about Seven-line prayer : for mantra of Guru Padmasambhava : OM AH HUM VAJRA GURU PEMA SIDDHI HUM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i28fZuqKKcQ The purpose to recite Vajra Guru mantra is to become enlightened. Guru Padmasambhava is the emanation  of Buddha Amitabha. He represent the enlightened qualities and activities  of all Buddhas.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NDt5ViCjsk

For mantra of Vajrasattva study about the meaning of 100-syllable mantra -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApIARcwuAzc

The Sanskrit syllables SVAHA are not pronounced “Sowaka” as you wrote in the mantra of Mahakala. For Chinese speaking it is difficult to pronounce Sanskrit correctly, but one must improve one´s pronunciation. Tibetans pronounce Svaha as “Soha” which is also wrong.

Ad4) Om Prom Svaha :  this is some mantra for vanishing diseases. It probably comes from Hinduism. In   Buddhism there is mantra of Vajra Gharuda and other mantras for healing. This mantra should  be avoided, since it is not so essential. Most important mantras that you recite daily, are : Vajrasattva 100-syllable mantra and Vajra Guru mantra (of Padmasambhava).

Ad5) Merichi is probably Maritseye or Yellow Golden Tara. For this mantra you need empowerment or at least reading transmission (Lung) before you recite it.

You asked if Arya Tara and Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) are Bodhisattvas or fully enlightened Buddhas ? Such questions are asked often without knowing the difference and similarities between the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Who is Bodhisattva and who is fully enlightened Buddha ? Study , contemplate and write me shorter answer according to your understanding of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Sometimes I also ask questions – I don´t want to give “one-sentence” superficial answer….

At the beginning of the day- before mantra recitation, add Verses of Prayer  to Eight noble auspicious ones , as taught in the Visual Dharma. Start with English recitations and also make prostrations at appropriate times. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMJxMJPS5ZI

This will increase your motivation and bring you auspiciousness. Then recite the mantras, as you practiced until now.

At the end of recitation dedicate the merit/positive energy to all beings. May I suggest that you should also meditate in silence, in relaxed way, every evening before sleep and after you wake up in the morning. In such way you wil become more present and aware.   As diligent Dharma practitioner study more about meaning of Refuge , write notes, develop deep faith in the Buddhas and  holy Dharma . With this Dharma advice I wish you smooth progress on spiritual path toward Enlightenment.

Comment on “TWENTY – ONE VERSES OF PRAISE TO TARA”

Lovely! How would a mono-theist understand Tara, angel or demon?

Answer : Arya Tara is full enlightened Buddha in female form. She is neither anger nor demon. For Interfaith dialogue there is the link :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U_wIVPE8p0

Globalaffair: So Arya Tara is like a saint, or one who devotes their life to
contemplation or meditation?

Dear Friend  of Buddha Dharma,21 verses of praise to Arya Tara describe a lot about Her, esp. 21 activities of Arya Tara. Just read carefully and contemplate 🙂

In Wisdom without borders : ven. Mangala Konchok Norbu

Dear venerable  , please enjoy my questions , thank you .
Maha Brahma , Great Brahma ; two of this realm’s more famous inhabitants are the great Brahma , a deity whose delusion leads him to regard himself as the
all-powerful , all-seeing supposedly creator of the universe ( see Digha Nikaya 11 ) , and Brahma Sahampati , who begs the Buddha to teach Dhamma to the world .

Q.143 – Are Maha brahma and Brahma Sahampati the same as the four Brahma Viharas? Answer:  Brahma is the god – who in the Hindu view, created the world. When uncapitalised, the word brahma  indicates the corresponding god of any particular world,  not only the Brahma of this world.  There are Four immeasurables, cultivated by the Bodhisattvas : infinite-loving kindness (maitri), infinite compassion (karuna), infinite joy (mudita), infinite equanimity(upeksha).
Recommended reading :Dr. K.Sri Dhammananda: Treasure of the Dhamma, Buddhist Missionary society, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 1994.

Q.144 – If Maha Brahma is the creator of the universe , does he creates all things , all being minds , and all realms of existence , samsara too ?
You already answered  this by writing above : “great Brahma, a deity whose delusion leads him to regard himself as all-powerful, all-seeing supposedly creator of the universe.” How can you then ask : If Brahma is the creator of the world ? Samsara – individual samsara and collective samsara with six realms of existence, includes beings of upper realms also. Samsara is created by ignorance (read : stupidity , unawareness).

If you truly wish to understand how samsara is created, study more the Dahrma teachings related to the Wish-granting prayer of Samantabhadra. Here is auspicious link to that Visual Dharma: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8W91pUTf2Jc and

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtxoGSk1wJk In this answer  we are linking Theravada Buddhist Teachings with Atiyoga Dzogpa chenpo Buddhist teachings.

Q.145 Why doesn’t he create also the Nirvana ?
Nirvana can not be “created” or compounded (Tibetan: Dumache- uncompounded).  It is utterly uncreated, simple and natural, without arguing. As Shakyamuni Buddha said :
Nirvana is peace . This is 4th seal of authentic Buddhist Dharma.

Q.146 – When Brahma Sahampati begs the Buddha to teach Dhamma to the world , has he a long life until Buddha period about 2553 years ago ?
May peace, happiness be upon you always !
nutier

Brahma Sahampati asked the Enlightened One also to theach gods like Brahma Sahampati was. Shakyamuni Buddha is therefore Enlightened Teaccher of gods and men (human beings). Life span of brahmas is counted in millions of human years.

Nutier : Dear venerable  , please enjoy my questions , thank you . In these fine material planes there are no females , all are males and when one is reborn there one becomes a male and there is no attachment or emotion because there is no sex , no greed and all sensuous feelings are non-existent .
Q.147 – How to distinguish Brahmas , Devas are males if they have no sex ?
Your investigation shows how religious imaginary is discriminative toward women even in so called “higher planes of existence” ! There are Dewi also (goddesses) in higher planes, bit obviously they don´t play important roles in theistic systems . So Dewis (goddesses) are not mentioned much in holy scriptures of Hinduism , also not in Buddhism. Maybe goddesses are just like clerks or secretaries here in our human world – they do very important work , but are almost unknown to the general public
J Take this just as an allegory for  upper  planes of existence….Q.148 – If all beings living in these planes have  no attachments or emotions , can they attain Nirvana directly after death ?  May peace and happiness be upon you always !  nutier Answer : It doesn´t mean  that gods and goddesses of higher planes of samsara overcame the ignorance . Ignorance is the problem, not attachment and emotions. Ignorance is based on ego or self-centered ambitions. Many meditators have similar symptoms : self-centered ambitions. If you don´t let go of your ego or over-proportional pride (I meditate, I have done this, I made it,I practice the dharma, I succeeded and so on…) you remain in samsara, even if you do many meritios deeds. Attaining of Nirvana is attainment of

P E A C E, as Shakymuni Buddha did. Bardo state after  death surely looks differently for gods and for humans. They have different karmic traces. When we dedicate the merit of prayers and meditations, we include gods in that dedication. May all beings be soon liberated from samsara.

3.2.Questions and answers nutier France. Dear venerable , thank you so much for your good response on my questions . You are really great teacher who know a lot of Buddha dharma as the source of water that is flowing everytime without the end . I ask you my questions when i have any doubt just for widen my knowledge in Buddhism .
Please enjoy my question , thank you .
The sensuous world , there are six devas realms included in this
group .  Beings here are not born as babies , they are already adults and they remain the same age until they die . There may be beautiful golden mansions with gardens , and angels playing lovely music .
Q.134 – If these beings are not born as babies , have they appeared themselves ?

The are four forms of birth : birth from womb as is the case with mammals; birth  from the eggs, as is the case with birds; birth from  moisture as in the case of worms ; the birth from transformation as in the case of deities and superior beings of the pure lands.
Q.135 – If they are still young adults until they die , are the birth , old age , sickness and death still existing  in the realms of devas ?
Yes, death  exist in deva realms . Devas have divine eye and they see when their splendour and parfumed body odour diminishes. At such time all other devas (gods) leave them and they die alone, falling to lower planes of samsara, experiencing  great suffering.

Q.136 – As devas are invisible , they do not possess the five aggregates as human beings , how can they see, hear , or make movements ?
Devas don´t have material bodies as humans , but etherical bodies and divine eye.

Nutier :A person might and up in devas realms by following  religion correctly . Buddhists who practise sharing , morality and meditation , particulary loving kindness may be reborn in these deva lokas .

Answer : Person with very pure and virtuous karma is reborn in deva realms. For Buddhists who have faith in Buddha and His teaching, rebirth in Amitabha Buddha Pure land is desirable, not rebirth in deva realms.

Q.137 – Do persons who made donations to the poor , or associations , or only the monks will be reborn in deva realms ?
Buddhist must practice sila (ethic) , samadhi (meditation) and prajna (wisdom of discrnment). These are three pillars of Buddhism. Buddhists must also practice six perfections or paramitas as described in Visual Dharma according to Master  Longchen Rabjam. Such Dharma practice lead to liberation from samsara, not rebirth in deva realms.

Q.138 – Do persons who practise only the five , eight or ten precepts of Buddha will live in the deva realms ?
Your questions show how much you are attached to these deva realms. Study and think more about liberation from samsara, to attain save direction toward the Other shore – Enlightenment.

Q.139 – There are many kinds of meditation , I count only four of it : a – We meditate in the Buddha dharma to know how Buddha created it in the order . b – we meditate in our five aggregates according to the mind . c – We meditate on a corpse is rotting, and think it is useless in the world . d – We meditate to jewelled mansions where devas look as if they are 20 years , and devis , 16 . they remain youthful and beautiful all their lives . Do person who meditate one of its will live in deva realms ?
May new year 2010 brings to you  peace , happiness , prosperity and wisdom !

This is truly beautiful, but my soul cries when I think how many still suffering. There are 6 billion of us in this world how many prayers and mantras do we need? How many times we have to be reborn? How many Buddhas do we need to understand senseless killing? May all sentient beings enjoy happiness.

Meaning Of the Gayatri Mantra
O God, Thou art the giver of life, the Remover of the pains and sorrow,
The Bestower of happiness. O Creator of the universe may we
Receive Thy supreme sin-destroying light.
May Thou guide our intellect in the right direction
Why Gayatri Mantra?
Gayatri Mantra is based on an absolute science (not a belief system).
It illuminates our thoughts and leads us towards the correct path.
It will protect you from harm wherever you are and whatever circumstance you are in.
Since ages highly elevated souls have been practising Gayatri Mantra.
Chanting Gayatri Mantra is fun and it confers great joy.
Gayatri Mantra Putting the World on Sound Track By An American scientist Dr Howard Stein gull, who collected Mantras from all over the world to test their strength in his Philology Laboratory and found that The Gayatri Mantra produced 110,000 sound waves per second. The sound waves possess immense spiritual potentialities which UN fold and have the desired effect on the nervous plexus in the spinal cord called the Chakras. Which results in awakening trillions of neurons in the brain, only four percent of which stay awake in the ordinary brain? When this happens man becomes super human. The Gayatri Mantra is scientific, as it is based on the universal and natural laws relating to sound and matter. The Mantra recited on a mass scale creates powerful sound waves which affect every human being like heat and cold waves in a subtle way, and the result is instantaneous. The Aura will then be created engulfing the whole world, making it impossible for any evil power to have its effect on our world. The aura thus strengthens peace, love, unity, equality and brotherhood.

I.Introduction : Dear Buddha Dharma friends* very happy, peaceful and blissfull first days of January 2010. in 2010 Alive Dharma teachings will be sent every 1st and 3rd Sunday in every month . Thank you for rating *****, favoring, sharing, embedding and commenting- to increase enlightened energy in this world. Sarwa mangalam: All Blessings . 2.1.Rainbow Lights : Interview with Lama Tara Tulku Drimed Drolkhar Rinpoche

“When thoughts dissolve you gaze at the rainbow light.

True love, Infinite, without duality,

Complete silence , Purity, spontaneity.”

Mangala Konchok Norbu : Your eminence, you wrote this Dharma verse 12 years ago, on  the 11th anniversary of Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche

II.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqBphGFzmW0

Tara Tulku : Yes, it just naturally appeared in my awareness after observing two rainbow spheres around the morning sun. The verse contain all keys and meanings of Atiyoga * Dzogpa chenpo essence lineage : Purity (Tib. Kadak), Spontaneity /(Lhundrup) and Without duality (Yermed). This Dharma verse and Vision are  connected with first Vision of Todgal practice, spontaneous leap-over. All who see such Lights will be liberated  from samsara. One only needs to be sensitive enough….

M.K. Norbu : Do you often teach with Dharma verses , Rinpoche ?

Tara Tulku : Those teachings that have Dharma poetry are more direct. Such teachings point out directly enlightened Buddha nature, present in all beings. I try to use every opportunity to introduce that enlightened Buddha nature in simple and direct ways, be it through Visual Dharmas or through written teachings.

M.K.Norbu : So you don´t like intellectual teachings a lot , Rinpoche ?

Tara Tulku: No, not so much. There is always danger to become intellectual and uncreative, uninspired. True Dharma practice makes us creative and inspired, awakening deep faith in  Buddhas and their Lineage. Intellectual teachings are just like instructions how to drive the car, or how to cook the food , how to make zen gardening, for example. But they are not actual teachings and masterpieces themselves. I try to teach authentic Buddha Dharma without obscuration of race, nationality, politics or social position-this Dharma is available to all. We respect the words of Guru Padmasambhava and are not selling the Dharma. We don´t threat sacred Dharma as merchandise. Therefore we are creative and inspiring , because blessings of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of ten directions always abide with us. These  Dharmas are fresh and A-live , with A symbolizing natural state of Dharmakaya. They arise also from meditative experiences  of Atiyoga*Dzogpa chenpo essence lineage of the Sound*Light of Dharmata.

M.K. Norbu : But many people feel very proud of being intellectuals with many fancy ideas ….

Tara Tulku : That´s true. Such people are so much attached to Tibetan grammar for example, teaching through etymological way …. It is just like instruction how to use the computer : instructions can be written in many different languages , not only one. It is not the instruction that is valuable , it is actually the laptop . Instruction without the laptop is almost useless. After one learns how to use the laptop, one does not read the instructions  any more. One advances on the path by creative work on the laptop, not by reading the instructions…

Atiyoga master Shri Singha prophecized about the dream of Tibetan translator Vairocana – that in the future time precious Dzogchen teachings will be just like “incense lingering in an empty box”.  We are avoiding this pitfall : 45 Visual Dharmas presented on www.youtube.com/OpenBuddhistForum present authentic, creative and inspiring Dharmas who have extensive supportive teachings with bibliography, notes and e-learning curriculum. These Dharmas for new millennium are not “incense lingering in an empty box”. They are true spiritual treasures – Heritage of mankind.

M.K.Norbu : Rinpoche, you are continuing the Atiyoga essence lineage of Ayu Khandro Dorje Paldron who lived in Tibet from 1839-1953, at the end of her long life accomplishing the Rainbow body. How are you satisfied with your Dharma work in this regard ?

Tara Tulku: Ayu Khandro Dorje Paldron was also a tertön or hidden treasure discoverer who had special connection with Buddha Padmasambhava.  Her mind terma of Wisdom Dakini Siamukha is known. All her other Dharma works are almost unknown, which is a pitty, because she was such accomplished Atiyoga master, living for more then 50 years at the retreat house near the river in East Tibet. As her  biography published in the book Women of Wisdom shows, it was Ayu Khandro`s  enlightened intention that her Dharmas reach and spread also on other continents.

It is the same with hidden treasures  of Buddha Padmasambhava : to think that they exist only in Tibet, would be too narrow- minded….

M.K.Norbu : Some people think that V.I.P. or Very Important Persons must be distant in order to make themselves  more precious ….

Tara Tulku: Yes, this is well know : distance is formula of all bussiness people. But we are not practicing distance : our Visual Dharmas are very close , available to every being .  Buddhas and Bodhisattvas  are  never distant : they are always presennt and their enlightened energy shines in all directions and times. True spiritual master has compassion and is not distant.  Wisdom light is warm and compassionate like the rays of the sun. Rainbow lights show enlightened masters very clearly : even after they pass away and come back to this saha world, on their anniversaries there can be rainbow spheres visible in the sky, as it was during the Vision on  the 11th anniversary of Dudjom Rinpoche II. He was one of great Nyingma masters and mystics , often writing Vajra verses and poetry.

M.K.Norbu: Rinpoche, how are you satisfied with development of Buddha Dharma OpenBuddhistForum channel on youtube ?

Tara Tulku: We all can be satisfied with the Dharma work done in 2008 and 2009. First year we did not have swift internet connection, only mobile one, which was very slow and often  broke down. But in 2008 we uploaded around 36 Visual Dharmas ! Other nine followed in 2009. Because of slow internet  connection in 2008 we did not have much involvement in the community-we just focused in our Dharma work. In 2009 we had a lot of interactions with the world-wide community. Inside statistics clearly show significant progress of our beneficial Dharma work : video uploads views increase from 173.180 to 416.500 in one year; subscribers from 309 to 826 and friends  from 69 to 736. With more than 16.500 channel views we can be happy and we hope that our channel & Visual Dharmas will be embeded to still more sites , bringing positive energy everywhere. 2009 was year of devoted and concentrated Dharma work  benefiting  beings.

M.K.Norbu : Alive Dharma teachings were published almost every Sunday in 2009  – there are now 61 Alive Dharma teachings published at www.MySpace.com/BuddhaDharma_OBFI and around 42 at www.buddhadharmaobfinternationakl.wordpress.com Heritage of mankind. Some also appear  on other social networks. Rinpoche, will you continue with Alive Dharma teachings every Sunday in 2010 ?

Tara Tulku : In  2010 Alive Dharma teachings will be prepared only every 1st and 3rd Sunday in a month, not every Sunday. This will give us all more time and space to develop seven programmes of Buddha Dharma equaly, among them Buddha Dharma charity, helping Sagar Rinpoche´s Buddhist school for orphan children in Nepal. We hope that many more sponsors will join Buddha Dharma  charity. Worldwide friends  will have more time to study and apply Alive Dharma teachings in their lives. For some of them such swift “tempo” of four teachings in a month was surely too demanding . We will also multiply the blessings from Visual Dharmas by sending them throughout the world on special days of Buddhist lunar calendar. Many Visual Dharmas have close connections with special days of Medicine Buddhas, Arya Tara, Guru Padmasambhava, Manjushri, Buddha Amitabha, Vajrasattva, Vajrakilaya…. To send these Visual Dharmas on coresponding days multiplies the enlightened energy in the world.

M.K.Norbu: So you feel, Rinpoche, that with Visual Dharmas you and we all who take part in this Dharma work, are nurturing sentient beings, as Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche wrote in the Invocation of Arya Tara  nine years ago ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6pDvHf2qgo

Tara Tulku : Yes, I believe so. Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche, with whom I studied Atiyoga * Dzogchen  from fall 1999 till 2005, gave me a lot of inspiration, creativity and encouragements. Visual Dharma with verses from Rinpoche´s White sail – Offering praise was created at that time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1kIQn33DDM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WF2l2moqpS4 In spring 2000 I received transmission of Atiyoga  * Dzogchen essence lineage of Samantabhadra-Vajrasattva-Garab Dorje through Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche. There is inspired Visual Dharma : Nyingma Vajrayana Buddhism http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Gle8o9RVHg

We all pray for health and long life of Thinley Norbu Rinpoche.

While devotedly serving the teachings of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, following noble examples of Mandarava and Yeshe Tshogyal, upholding and protecting the teachings of Buddhas arose naturaly by promoting ten enlightened activities, as advised in Vajra words of Buddha Padmasambhava.

M.K.Norbu : What are your visions for the future, Rinpoche ?

Tara Tulku : Astrologers predict conjunction of our Sun with the center of the gallaxy Milky way, on winter equinox 2012. It is important to remember this date . It is said that such constellations happen only every 26.000 years. At last such constellation cave men developed themselves toward more developed  human beings ! Humanity must make significant spiritual progress in next 3 years : this can happen by avoiding eating meat and to avoid killing of animals for food ! We believe that Visual Dharmas – empowered with the Sound* Light of Dharmata – are helping humanity to become less egocentric, more enlightened, wise and compassionate.

M.K.Norbu : What is the role of individual internet user in this spiritual process , Rinpoche ?

Tara Tulku: Everyone can become vegetarian, saving lives of animals. Everyone can contribute drop of wisdom to the Heritage of mankind : practice, pray and meditate according to Visual Dharmas; study , comment, rate******, share and embed them like very many have already done. In such simple but effective ways everyone brings peace, wisdom and loving kindness to this planet Earth. It is uniques Healing Art and Wisdom without borders J

M.K.Norbu: Collective meditations and prayers go on already from 1988. Will they continue also in 2010 ?

Tara Tulku: Of course . Dharma practice means unimpeded continuity. After one is directly introduced to primordially  pure Buddha nature, hearable*visible with Sound*Light of Dharmata, Dharma contemplation never stops : until complete and perfect enlightenment of Dharmakaya Buddha Samantabhadra. To nourish that seed – sprout  – toward blossoming lotus of Enlightenment , there are collective prayers and meditations according to Visual Dharmas – every Sunday afternoon from 4-5 pm (GMT +1) or according to your local time. At that time I also give direct introduction to natural Sound*Light of Dharmata, your Buddha nature. Actively participating in meditations and prayers means to nourish one´s seed-sprout of enlightenment, to accomplish complete and perfect Buddhahood of Samantabhadra.

M.K.Norbu: Rinpoche, you are also actively promoting gender equality in Buddhism . Why is this Millennium goal of United nations: Gender equality and empowerment of women , so  important ?

Tara Tulku: Together with saving lives of animals and teaching about vegetarianism to achieve world peace, there is another aspect of my Dharma work : Gender equality. In  spiritual development of humanity till 2015 people  must get rid off and liberate themselves  from all patriarchal ways  of thinking  and practice gender equality. This spiritual process , supported by astrological and astronomical constellation of the Sun with conjunction with the center of the Milky way, has to do with opening of the heart chakra. In Buddhism we teach and apply the Bodhicitta – unselfish Love. Opening of the heart chakra is sometimes difficult for men, because their upbringing was mostly patriarchal. Because of wrong upbringing such people are often entangled with anger and violence, including religious violence ! There is religious imperative for the equality of women. Wise men like former US president Jimmy Carter The Carter Centre site fully recognized the importance of gender equality in religions as well as in all fields of life. Successful  petition of fourfoldsangha.org/petition-text shows very clear results!  This spiritual process is painful only  for those who are afraid of loosing worldly power and prestige ! Other wise men and women are fully engaged in positive changes of new millennium.

M.K.Norbu : Your eminence, thank you for kind Dharma conversation.

Tara Tulku: You are welcome . With the Wish-granting prayer of Samantabhadra may all be truly accomplished and enlightened in the palace of Dharmadhatu : Kunzang Gongpa Zhangtal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8W91pUTf2Jc

Q.126 – What is the meaning of Nimmanarati devas ?
To truly understand the Devas please study in Wikipedia. The link is below.

DevaWikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Look up Deva or deva in Wiktionary, the free dictionary. Deva can refer to: A religious concept: Deva (Hinduism), Hindu deity or deities; Deva (Buddhism), …
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deva
Q.127 – If these devas delight in the sense objects of their own creation , do they create themselve their children as human beings ?
Devas or gods don´t create children as humans.

Q.128 Do human beings come from their creations too ?
Human beings are not devas creations. Human beings and devas have different karma.

Monotheistic religions teach that human beings are crteated by the Deva (God or gods), but the teaching about this  is different in Buddhism. Please study Visual Dharma- About Buddhism http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2a0iFjgBJc

Q.129 – How long can they live in this heaven ?

They live in this heaven for millions of years, from human perspective. Finally when their good karma expire , they are reborn in lower realms of samasara. Lord Buddha is the enlightened Teacher of Gods and humans.

Dear venerable Sir , thank you so much for your nice response on my questions , and good provebs that I like .Yes , we are about 6 milliards on earth , we have not the same destiny , but we live together on only one earth .
Please enjoy my question , thank you .

Q.132 – Is mara , the personification of delusion and desire the same as ( the Panca- mara ) ? Mara means individual ignorance and individual delussion which need to be purified by authentic Dharma practice : prayers, meditations, study of the Buddha Dharma.
Q.133 – What is the different of Mara and Asura ?

Asuras are jelaous gods  always fighting and quereling. The opposite of asura is all-acomplishing wisdom represented by Buddha Amoghasiddi. He symbolises the enlightened activity of all Buddhas.  For the asura mentalyty please read related teachings at Vajrakilaya tantra Gurkhukma, pure Vision dharma by Khenpo Jigme Phuntsog Rinpoche, who discovered this teaching at the Asura cave in Nepal.

Re: ATIYOGA * DZOGCHEN : BEYOND EGOCENTRIC WAYS Alive Dharma teaching, Dec 27, 2009

I have another question, how can I use meditation to uncover represed emotions or those that come on it’s own accord when I learn to meditate ?

Meditation is not method for using . Meditation first mean to be aware of one´s body position, one´s way of breathing and one´s thoughts. Repressed emotions like repressed anger unfold themselves in the meditation process. One just become aware of them. Meditation is great practice of awareness . With awareness of oneself as one is at the moment clarity and presence also develop. Meditation must be natural , without tensions, without exageration or excitements and without dullness. Just sit in comfortable bodily position and become aware of your breathing : slow, relaxed, peaceful. When you calm down, it is very beneficial to recite Verses of prayers to Eight Noble aupicious ones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMJxMJPS5ZI or to chant Namo Amitabha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozKDpz_G3JQ , as shown in Visual Dharmas- spiritual teachings for third millenium

Dearest Lama,Thank you so much for this great teaching. It is an inspiration to all women involved in Dharma practice. It is something that I have felt in my heart but it is the first time I have heard words like these in all my years as a practitioner. Thank you so much for keeping us in your heart. debra

Comment by Her Eminence Tara Tulku Rinpoche

Dear Debra, your words are truly beautiful . I am happy when Visual Dharma: Women in Buddhism encourage and inspires Dharma practitioners 🙂 to accomplish liberation and enlightenment. Religions often discriminate women , but this was not the aim and motivation of Lord Buddha Shakyamuni and all enlightened masters after Him.

Dec 24, 2009 12:48 AM The Gift of Love
Whether one believes in a religion or not,
and whether one believes in rebirth or not,
there isn’t anyone who doesn’t appreciate kindness and compassion.
~Dalai Lama~
I Agree Today To Be The Gift of Love.
I Agree to Feel Deeply Love for Others independent of anything they are expressing,
saying, doing, or being.
I Agree to Allow Love As I Know It To Embrace My Whole Body And Then to Just Send It To Them Silently and Secretly.I agree to feel it, accept it, breathe it into every cell of my body on each in-breath And On Each Out-Breath Exhale any feeling unlike love.I will repeat this breathing process multiple times until I feel it Fully and completely then consciously amplify in me the feeling of love and project It to others
as the gift of love. This is my secret agreement –no one else Is to know it.
wishing the Peace and Love this Holiday Season be with you always. Johann

Looking back on the months gone by,As a new year starts and an old one ends,
We contemplate what brought us joy,And we think of our loved ones and our friends.
Recalling all the happy times,Remembering how they enriched our lives,
We reflect upon who really counts,As the fresh and bright new year arrives.
And when I ponder those who do,I immediately think of you.
Thanks for being one of the reasons I’ll have a Happy New Year!
Wishing You the Warmest Regards and Blessings For a Wonderful New Year

3.1.Relax in natural state – beyond egocentric ways, part 2

Homage to primordial Buddha Samantabhadra*Samantabhadri :

With their great compassion may  he/she leads us on the Path of natural liberation.

Those who are not aware of sublime Knowledge within remain in attachment to oneself and enmity toward others , as Kunzang Gongpa Zangthal teaches. One can not teach spiritual Path , Buddhist path and Atiyoga Dzogpa chenpo Path with egocentric ways. Ancient Dzogchen master Shri Singha explained clarity dream of great Tibetan translator Vairocana : “But there will come a time in the future when various practitioners with broken vows have their hearts seduced by the gongpo demon . They will distort the sacred Great perfection. Disparaging true teachings while exaggerating falsehood, they will bring many people to ruin.

Your Tibetan people are also gullible and therefore indecisive, so there will come a time when these teachings of the Great perfection are no more than the “scent lingering in an empty box. Padmasambhava of Uddiyana and the learned Vimalamitra are both holders of my lineage, as well as accomplished in the meaning of Great perfection.” (8)

Only by following teachings of authentic Atiyoga * Dzogchen master who has blessings of Atiyoga * Dzogchen leneage, who is keeping pure samaya*commitment and who can show the Path of natural liberation of Atiyoga * Dzogchen by introducing you directly to innate Sound*Light of Dharmata beyond egocentric ways, one can proceed on the Path toward complete Enlightenment. Nowdays Dzogchen teachings became fashionable, because many spiritual practitioners like ideas of self-centered ambitions. Many egotistic people are teaching spirituality nowdays… Following such egotistic teaching only reinforces the ego and conceptual ignorance. True blessings always come from Dharmakaya Buddha Samantabhadra*Samantabhadri, being unseparable from Vajrasattva*Buddha Locana, Garab Dorje, Shri Singha, Vimalamitra, Padmasambhava . Blessings of Buddha Vajrasattva purify and open meditators consciousness  to receive Wisdom blessings of Body, Speech, Awareness, Enlightened qualities and enlightened activities of Samantabhadra-Vajrasattva_Garab Dorje lineage. 100-syllable matra of Vajrasattva teaches : OM VAJRASATTVA SAMAYA…..MAHASAMAYA SATTVA A. … returning to primordial purity, symbolised by the sacred  letter A. Purified skandha of consciousness – without egocentric ways- is Buddha Vajrasattva. Relax in that Knowledge of primordial purity, hearable as natural Sound*Light of Dharmata.

Don´t visualise anything…just see your body as rock crystal – Vajrasattva, Vajra Being. Crystal clear. Awareness of Vajrasattva, crystal clear. Stable like the mountain. (9) Vajrasattva Buddha purifies all samaya*commitments, beginning with the vows of individual liberations (pratimoksha vovs), Bodhicitta vows and refuge vows, Bodhisattva vows, 14 root tantric vows and secondary tantric vows and the four great samayas of Atiyoga * Dzogpa chenpo. One can not uphold Dzogchen samayas  without keeping pratimoksha vows, beginning with five ethical precepts of Buddhism (pancasila).

All-accomplished Master Shri Singha already warned future generations, including now living generations, that sacred teachings of Great perfection will be perverted by those with broken samayas. It is our responsibility to keep the sacred Atiyoga*Dzogpa chenpo lineage A-live. It is A-live only with pure commitments (as explained above). Pure commitments is like crystal Vase to receive supreme blessings of Samantabhadra*Samantabhadri-Vajrasattva*Buddha Locana- Garab Dorje and all lineage masters in unimpeded continuity. Tsog offering verse (10) teaches :  “May we be enlightened in the primordialy pure youthful vase Body.”

May these words of Heart advise and essential meaning awaken present and future generation. May everyone  relax in primordialy  pure natural state beyond egocentric ways…

Notes :

1. Samantabhadra yab yum simbolises Dharmakaya.

2. Vajrasattva yab yum simbolises Sambhogakaya.

3.Shakyamuni Buddha foretold supreme emanation Prahevaja – Garab Dorje in the Nirvana sutra.

4.Shri Singha was one of Atiyoga ancient masters who transmitted Eighteen Dzogchen Upadesha tantras to Guru Padmasambhava. All ancient Atiyoga masters accomplished Rainbow body of great transference (Phowa chenpo).

5. Yeshe Khandroma Tshogyal was Wisdom consort of Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava). For Her life and liberation (Namtar) see selected bibliography.

6.Wisdom deities (Dewa, Yidam); Dharma protectors (Dharmapala, Chökyong) from together with the Lama/Guru Three Roots of Vajrayana Buddhism.

7.Sensei Morihei Ueshiba – The Art of peace

8.Wellspring of great perfection , pg 242. Gongpo demon personifies the insidious evil spirit of egotism and self-centered ambition. Egocentric ways are selfish ways carrying only for self and personal interest. Egocentric means : self-centered, proceeding from self as the center, as one´s knowledge of the nature of outside world. Egotism can lead to egomania = abnormal or excessive egotism, as opposed to altruism / unselfishness. Gullible means : capable of being easily gulled, duped or deceived. One Lama said many years ago at an open seminar : “It is so easy for us lamas to cheat you people !”… German translator translated this as : “Es ist sehr leicht sie zu unterrichten… It is easy to teach you.”  He was corrected by the surprised listeners.

Neuroscientists can proove that human brain absorb every information through listening and visual impressions. Marketing strategists apply this pre-conditioning of human mind in very effective ways – one need only to listen and see commercials long enough to begin to believe . Therefore it is extremely important for all on the spiritual Path not to follow egotistic paths which only reinforce ego and selfishness.

9. Contemplation , stable like the mountain is one of four contemplations of Atiyoga*Dzogpa chenpo.

10. Tsog offering verse by Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche II. See related Visual Dharma.

3.2.QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS :

Re: Buddhism . Dec 21, 2009

How to handle anger? I am a jovial, cheerful person. But once I get offended, I become angry easily. And I will hit back with very hash words. I don’t like to be like that.

Answer :

Many people are struggling with anger problems. Your observations are sincere and truthful. We could answer your question and give some spiritual advice in one of next Alive Dharma teaching, sent to all Friends  on youtube . In such way many more people can benefit from spiritual advice on how to handle anger.

First of all one should not involve oneself with “anger junkies “ – with Toxic anger sindrom. Anger can be explosive (showing outside) or implosive (hidden). Such frustrated people always seek somebody to insult and  to quarrel with . TAS is sickness and must be cured by detoxifying the liver (liver chi /energy). Poisoning of liver comes from alcohol, drugs, junk food or just dwelling in environment with angry / poisonous energy . All mental states are addictive and can be easily transmitted on collective level. In Buddhism we call this  states collective karma.

There is humorious , but very educational movie : Anger management, showing Toxic anger syndrom from funny side. Look this movie.

At the same time try to increase your positive energy which is your protection against anger. There are righteous “anger” and toxic anger . Righteous “anger” is Mirror-like wisdom. Wish-granting prayer of Samantabhadra teaches more how to liberate the energy of anger into Mirror-like wisdom. Wholesome medicine with vegetarian diet and our formulas with medicinal herbs for detoxifying the energy in your body can also help you a lot. Just to beginn with : regular chanting of Namo Amitabha in a concentrated manner as on this Visual Dharma (video) reduces anger . OM MANI PADME HUM

3.1. Buddhist Literary Heritage Project

October 24, 2009                    Dear Friends,

My name is Huang Jing Rui, and I am honored to be newly appointed as the interim executive director of the Buddhist Literary Heritage Project (BLHP). The goal of this new initiative is to see all of the vast and extraordinary riches of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist literature, particularly the Kangyur and Tengyur, translated into English and other modern languages and made universally accessible within a hundred years.

Over the past few decades, many groups and individuals have been working with great dedication to translate a wide range of Buddhist teachings into English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, and other languages. The BLHP grew from the jointly expressed wishes of more than 50 such translators, teachers, and academics who met in Bir, India, in March 2009 at the Translating the Words of the Buddha conference.

Conceived as a project with its own activity and funding, and not simply as a forum for discussion, the BLHP clearly needs an effective organizational structure. At the Bir conference, the participants requested Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche to take on the interim responsibility of overseeing the establishment of the necessary structure.

In the six months since the conference, many interesting developments have taken place toward setting up that interim organizational structure, together with the key policies and strategic plans that will get the BLHP going. These steps include:

May: Planning meeting  June: Editorial policy meeting  July: Appointment of executive director and working committee July: Confirmation of two “proof of concept” pilot translations September: Four-day working committee planning meeting The Buddhist Literary Heritage Project will officially begin to operate in January 2010, managed by an interim working committee consisting of eight members:

  • Chair: Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche

  • Executive director: Huang Jing Rui

  • Committee members: Ani Kunga Chodron, Gene Smith, Ivy Ang, John Canti, Steven Goodman, and Cangioli Che

The BLHP interim working committee is committed to an open, inclusive, and collaborative approach that seeks the involvement of Dharma teachers, translators, academics, scholars, and researchers from all segments of the Buddhist community. The BLHP has taken birth from the great aspirations of teachers, translators, and people like you, but it is still in its infancy. As we develop, learn, and move forward, we humbly seek your patience, understanding, and goodwill. Your ongoing support is absolutely necessary for the project to accomplish its objective of preserving and making available the precious teachings of the Buddha.

Finally, we wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all the past and present volunteers and donors, who have generously offered time, money, experience, expertise, effort, and goodwill to the BLHP. We look forward to your continued support.

Please feel free to forward this letter to anybody whom you feel might be interested in our project. Thank you.

Yours in the Dharma,Huang Jing Rui Executive Director

OM MANI PADME HUM Animal sacrifice is totally uncivilised deed , not a religious act at all! World wide petition must support complete prohibition of animal sacrifice in all traditions . True religion saves lives of beings ! This petition must be brought to United nations which must prohibit animal sacrifice in all countries, including Muslim world. It is very sad day for Nepal when 500.000 animals are killed every year.
OM MANI PADME HUM

* Today in collective prayers and meditations we will also  pray for all animals that are killed in animal sacrifice.
