I. WELLNESS & WHOLESOME MEDICINE
1.1. Vegan Buddhist world view is in accordance with the law of karma as taught by Shakyamuni Buddha : Don?t harm anyone ! Contemporary Buddhist masters give advice why vegan diet is in accordance with Buddhist life style . We also teach why eating meat and dairy food means your own contribution of haerming animals which are sentient beings .

The Benefits of Being Vegetarian, and How It Can Affect Us.
We should encourage each other to deeply feel respect for all sentient beings. We should make every effort to relieve their pains and fears.
All sentient beings, like humans, have sensation. A tiny caterpillar wants to live comfortably and at ease, and should have the right to do so to the best of his abilities.
We must protect the earth and its many wonderful plants and animals, as well as our own health. We truly share our health with the earth.
• Dorji Wangchuk Previously in Tibet due to the high altitude, freezing weather and lack of vegetables we Tibetans hat eat meat, especially the nomads who had no other means of sustenance. Accordingly the great masters of the past did not tend to restrict meat eating in Tibet. Nowadays due to the ease of transportation and more favorable conditions, different varieties of vegetables and fruits are available. Since we have all the favorable conditions, we must we must try as much as possible ourselves to be vegetarian. – Dalai Lama

Dorji Wangchuk Compassion especially is important in Buddha’s teachings, specifically an impartial compassion towards infinite sentient beings without beings without any distinction between close ones and distant ones. Killing innocent animals and using their blood and flesh just for food is extremely bad – Sakya Thrizin

We Vegans see suffering as it is . Ignorant and cruel humans involved in animal farming, looking only for prophyt , murder billions of animals , year by year…cutting them in pieces and sell these pieces of murdered animals in shops . Other ignorant and greedy »humans« buy these pieces of murdered animals and call this »meat« . Filling their greedy stomach , making them sick in long term . They cook and roast pieces of murdered animals in their »clean« kitchens and devour pieces of murdered animals at events called : lunch, dinner , banquet… With greedy, ignorant and violent hearts, eyes and minds – such »humans2 don?t wish to see that so called »meat« is piece of murdered animal! We suppose that when there is no more animal »meat« to devour, such »humans« will devour human »meat« ! Indian mythology has many examples of such beings , calling them »rakshasas« (i.e. meat eating demons).
1.2. Karmic consequences of eating meat :
It is said many times in Buddhist scriptures that such humans will be reborn for 500 times (not only once) in the animal realm where they will experience the same suffering as those animals which has been murdered for them . Eating meat is always connected to killing – direct or indirect killing .
The Buddha taught Five ethical precepts (pancasila) , beginning with : Do not kill !
If you are not vegan already for longer time, you will never practically understand this explanation about karma : cause-condition-effects of good and bad karma . Your mind or consciousness is lacking clarity which is wisdom of discernment or prajna .
Some people are so completely arrogant and ignorant- they never learn anything about spiritual progress, they only learn through suffering . It is not good to involve yourself with other people suffering and bad karma . The Buddha taught : I show you the path , but liberation (from suffering ) depends on you !
Factory farming with murdering of billions of animals every year is result of wrong views developed from Darwin* s evolution »theory« . Dr. Bruce Lipton explained this very clearly in his publications .
1.3. Famuous Vegans and vegetarians :
Spiritually developed people even don*t need to be Buddhist , but they stopped eating corpses of murdered animals long ago . History has many such noble examples , including Leonardo Da Vinci , Albert Einstein , Nikola Tesla and recent Vegans such as Kyabje Chatral Rinpoche , Bill Clinton and Al Gore . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzP0ausBvQ4

1.4. World Vegan = World Peace
World peace can not exclude animals. From Vegan point of view religions don*t teach enough about importance of Vegan life style , although most Holy scriptures of religions pointed out importance of veg diets . Instead of teaching according to their Holy scriptures, many religions hypocritically try to bribe the god or Buddha with rituals and public ceremonies to mislead the followers from the path of inner spiritual development . Many Buddhist nowadays eat meat , except for Mahayana Buddhists from China and few other countries . We can find most Vegans in Jain faith and some Hindu tradition s of South India .
1.5 . Worldwide Vegan movement
Has many Vegan groups on Facebook and other social networks . I participate in some of them : there is numerous group of Bhutan vegetarians with more than 10.000 members . There is ongoing event : Meatless Monday and Veg Thursday for those who wish to become life long Vegans . Support groups are very important and inspiring in such spiritual process .
1.5. Why Vegans contribute to world peace ?
Holistic medical approaches to healing diseases clearly recognise causes for violent behaviour in human : damaged liver . These facts are well explored in Traditional Chinese Medicine and other holistic medical systems . Unfortunately TCM does not advocate Vegan or meatless diets , because of cultural conditioning (see famous TCM recipe : Chicken soup » ). Corpses of murdered animals contain a lot of stress hormones and other poisons (antibiotics, growth hormones etc). When an animal is murdered by contemporary butchers , they produce a lot of stress hormones in their flesh . If you eat flesh of murdered animal, you actually eat animal suffering with stress hormones … you poison yourself with this »meat«, that means you poison your liver which makes you confused and angry .
Logic tells Us that you will never be happy by feeding yourself with suffering of murdered animals !
1.6. Vegan Compassion is active compassion !
Being Vegan does not mean to be passive, idealistic , unrealistic pacifist . Vegan Compassion is active compassion . Vegans often protest in public, making public more aware what is going on in factory farming; Vegans protest against animal sacrifice (like Ghadimai in Nepal and other places). One of the ways to motivate people to stop eating meat is of course increasing health insurance for meat eaters (and other risking groups , such as alcoholics, drug addicts , addicts of tobacco etc). Those who have healthy life style would pay lesser health insurance .
1.7. Be inspired – Go Vegan , save the planet !
Gradually or at once, if you can , liberate yourself from junk food, including white flour, processed oils and white sugar . Reduce consumerism or addiction to buying . Modern people are becoming more and more consumer with the motto : I exist, because I can buy things ! I can spend ! This is modern day sickness and lack of human values . In my Facebook albums I offer many great recipes about healthy Vegan diet .
