FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS – Alive Dharma teachings, July 25,2009 Dharmachakra day

Namo tassa Bhagavato Arahato

Samma sambuddhassa !

Homage to Him, the Exalted, The Worthy,

The fully Enlightened One ! (1)

Blessed Dharmachakra day, dear Friends  of Buddha Dharma. Today is the anniversary of Buddha Shakyamuni first turning of the Dhamma/Dharma wheel. For seven weeks after his Enlightenment under the Bodhi tree at the Vajra seat in Bodhgaya, Shakyamuni Buddha did not teach. Finally, encouraged by Indra and Brahma, he turned the Wheel of Dharma for the first time, at Sarnath, by teaching the Four Noble Truths.

In Wikipedia they are described with these words :

English: Four Noble Truths Pali: cattāri ariyasaccāni Sanskrit: catvāri āryasatyāni Burmese
(thisa lei ba) Chinese: 四圣諦(T) / 四圣谛(S)
(pinyin: sìshèngdì) Japanese: 四諦
(rōmaji: shitai) Thai: อริยสัจสี่
(ariyasaj sii) Vietnamese: Tứ Diệu Đế

  1. The Nature of Suffering (Dukkha):

“This is the noble truth of suffering: birth is suffering, aging is suffering, illness is suffering, death is suffering; sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief and despair are suffering; union with what is displeasing is suffering; separation from what is pleasing is suffering; not to get what one wants is suffering; in brief, the five aggregates subject to clinging are suffering.”[9][10]

  2. Suffering’s Origin (Samudaya):

“This is the noble truth of the origin of suffering: it is this craving which leads to renewed existence, accompanied by delight and lust, seeking delight here and there, that is, craving for sensual pleasures, craving for existence, craving for extermination.”[9][10]

  3. Suffering’s Cessation (Nirodha):

“This is the noble truth of the cessation of suffering: it is the remainderless fading away and cessation of that same craving, the giving up and relinquishing of it, freedom from it, nonreliance on it.”[9][10]

  4. The Way (Mārga) Leading to the Cessation of Suffering:

“This is the noble truth of the way leading to the cessation of suffering: it is the Noble Eightfold Path; that is, right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration.”[11][12]

End of citation from Wikipedia.

When the Buddha , the fully Enlightened One, delivered his first Teaching/Dharma to the five ascetics, He spoke to them very personally, because they were His friends. He did not transmitt to them some dry intellectual knowledge. He spoke from His personal , continuous experiences. We all must take His first Dhamma/Dharma to our Hearts- time and separate space are illusion (even modern scientists aggree on that fact !) Shakyamuni Buddha is speaking personaly to everyone, to everyone in his own language : take His spiritual advice to your heart and apply it in your daily life. This is the true meaning of turning the Dhamma/Dharma wheel. Buddha is omniscent : He knows exactly all our situations, all our thoughts and emotions. He knows how many grains of sand are in the river Ganges – how couldn´t He know everyone of us, individually and personally ?! Make His teachings your path toward complete enlightenment, make it personal and intimate. Buddha´s Dharma is your best friend. When all other so called friends , relatives or companions leave you, Buddha´s Dharma is still there to guide you on the spiritual Path.

Buddhism is very A-live spiritual force , it is like fountain of Nectar water , accessible to all beings. Purify your vessel, your body, energy and consciousness ; pray and meditate and the Nectar of blessings will emerge spontaneously in your being-ness. To understand Four Noble Truths, one must truly be a vegetarian, helping to save animals and other sentient beings. It is impossible to be practicing Buddhist and still eat dead corpses of other sentient beings (animals). Wake up to that truth of suffering and stop craving for meat . Meat eating habit is craving for blood – there is no meat without blood. Purify your unvirtuous karma of eating meat. These teachings refer to all 600 millions and more Buddhists in different  Buddhist schools and to all Buddhist traditions. They refer to monastics and to non-monastics alike. Monastics in Asian countries must truly show the compassionate path of Enligtenment, by educating general public (first with their own examples of Noble living) why human beings should never eat meat, why we must save lives of animals. This is true Buddhist education in modern times.

Don´t think that by understanding the Four Noble Truths one must become a “wooden buddha” – without any feelings, emotions and personal opinions. Such attitude is fake samsara, leading to fake nirvana. On the Vajrayana-tantric path we learn how to use our feelings and emotions to progress on the Path toward complete enlightenment. Doing so, we descend with the view and ascend with the conduct , as taught by Nirmanakaya Buddha  Padmasambhava, the emanation of Buddha Shakyamuni. All Buddhist teachings are interconnected – there is no need to debate and argue about this simple fact. Manjushri-nama-samgiti (see related Visual Dharma: Chanting the Names of Manjushri) transmitts the Vajra verse about this Unity of all : “ Delivering three vehicles, I stand on the Fruit of one Vehicle ! “

Buddhism is inside path, it is more gnosis and the way of life as rigid and sectarian religious views. Let Four Noble Truths become your Gnosis, your own experience, your own understanding. We must internalise the Dhamma/Dharma to be delivered by the Truth of Dharma. We should not be like the rocks in the river , never absorbing any nectar-like spiritual teachings. If one is a rock in the water, one can not internalise the teachings, because one does not allow that the Truth enter his / her being-ness. Soften your being by relaxing , following your breath – your connection with life and let these Words enter your heart.

If one is dharma bussinessmen , seeing the holy Dharma as merchandise, one can also never internalise the teaching. It remais as an object outside you , object of spiritual materialism. Guru Padmasambhava taught (and is still teaching) that at that time, when there are perverted practitioners who will treat the Dharma as merchandise, EVERYONE OF US should not neglect the ten dharmic/enlightened activities. Reflecting upon the meaning of Dharma is one of ten enlightened activities. Reflecting upon the meaning of Four noble Truths is enlightened activity . This refers to all Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhist practitioners.  It also refers to all Dzogchen/Atiyoga practitioners. Start today, don´t wait for tommorrow or next life ! One does not need to be a Lama, Rinpoche , Tulku, Sensei etc. to reflect on the meaning of Dharma. It is responsibility of all of us ! It is resposibility of all of us to practice, teach and promote pure Buddha Dharma, without obscurations of race, nationality , social position and so on. Follow on the footsteps of the Buddha and walk on the Eightfold Noble Path . May these words encourage everyone  to proceed on the inside spiritual path of cultivation, toward perfect Enlightenment.

1.1. Visual Dharma: Verses of Prayer to Eight Noble Auspicious Ones VISUAL DHARMA 90 (2008) is published to benefit all beings and to plant the seeds of Enlightenment. THE VERSES OF PRAYER TO THE EIGHT NOBLE AUSPICIOUS ONES by MIPHAM RINPOCHE, recited by venerable AYANG RINPOCHE is well known Buddhist Prayer (tib. Phag-pa ta-shi gye-pä tsig-su che-pa shug-so). It is recited by Vajrayana Buddhists around the world. The author, venerable Mipham Rinpoche-Jampal Gyepai Dorje (1846-1912) was one of the great Nyingma Vajrayana Buddhist Masters. From his early years Mipham Jamyang Namgyal Gyamtso Rinpoche had excellent spiritual connections with Buddha Manjushri in the form of Vadisimha. He understood sutras, mantras and sciences and is often portrayed with symbols of the Sword of Manjushri and sacred text Prajnaparamita. His root guru (i.e. Lord of his enlightened family) was Khyentse Wangpo. Mipham Rinpoche wrote XXXII. Volumes of Dharma, including the Cycle of Mind in its natural state (tib. gnyug-sems skor). In his spiritual Testament he wrote : „Nowdays, if one speaks the truth, there is no one to listen. If one speaks falsely everyone holds it to be true. Therefore, I have not disclosed this to anyone before : I am no ordinary person. I am a bodhisattva who has taken birth by the power of his aspiration.“ (Dudjom Rinpoche: Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism – History: Close lineages of the Treasures, pg. 878). Mipham Rinpoche had many visions of all surpassing realisation- rainbows, light rays and points and the manifestations of the bodies and realms of the buddhas. At his cremation on 29th day of 4th lunar month (1912) there were many rainbows and other wonderful signs. His wish was to be reborn in the Shambhala pure land in the north. Among Mipham Rinpoche´s disciples were : Lerab Lingpa (previous incarnation of Sogyal Rinpoche and of the late Khenpo Jigme Phuntsog Rinpoche), Dzogchen Tulku V, Adzom Drukpa (previous incarnation of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche) and others. VERSES OF PRAYER TO THE EIGHT NOBLE AUSPICIOUS ONES is Mipham Rinpoche´s pure vision Prayer – or as he wrote – it is „great wishfulfilling crystal in the lake of my mind“. His Verses are recited every year at the great Nyingma prayer festival in Bodhgaya, India. During autumn 1996 Buddha Dharma in collaboration with Buddhists from Austria and esp. with Lobsang Norbu from Croatia invited ven. Ayang Rinpoche for the Bardo Teachings and Shitro Empowerment of Karma Lingpa , in Ljubljana, Slovenia , EU. Verses of Prayer were translated and recited before each Teaching of ven. Ayang Rinpoche who is great Phowa master . Rinpoche is vegetarian and is residing in Kagyu monastery in South India but is also teaching the Dharma in Europe and USA (Amitabha Foundation). All wise people of this planet earth should regularly recite this wonderful Atiyoga/Dzogchen prayer for auspiciousness and wisdom awareness. One can recite it loudly in English and other translations or sing it in Tibetan. One can sing it in different ways (slowly, joyfully etc.) doing prostration whereever it is necessary (i.e. „I prostrate and pray that all may be auspicious for myself and others“.) Practical instructions are published in next comment of the Verses of Prayer by Mipham Rinpoche (see description of Visual Dharma).

MERCY  BEGINS AT THE DINNER TABLE Alive Dharma teaching,July 12,09

*Homage to the fourty-two peaceful wisdom deities in the mandala*

Dear Friends of Buddha Dharma,

in this Summer series of Teaching we reflect on the ancient yet so actual story : Mercy begins at the dinner table- in connection with petition : Stop eating meat and heal our planet ! There are also two answered questions and e-learning curriculum, related to Visual Dharma: Verses of prayer to Eight Noble auspicious ones , sent today to all Friends on YouTube . Please study further on our two blogs : http://www.MySpace.com/BuddhaDharma_OBFI or at www.buddhadharmaobfinternational.wordpress.com. Both blogs have photos, big layout and links to Wikipedia.

“May the noble and meaningful increase and all wishes be accomplished.

May good fortune, happiness and prosperity be fully endowed !”

This is our wish to all who read our Dharmas .

Visual Dharma : Verses of prayer to the Eight Noble Auspicious Ones, recited by venerable Ayang Rinpoche, written down by ven. Mipham Rinpoche

E-learning curriculum :

1.Which Sugatas,Bodhisattvas,Goddesses & Guardians  are invoked with the Verses of Prayer to the Eight Noble Auspicious Ones ?

2.What is the meaning of prostration in Buddhist practice?

3.In which way was this sublime Buddhist Invocation discovered by Mipham Rinpoche?

1.Nutier, France :

Dear venerable Sir , please enjoy my question , thank you .
We know well that we are living in Samsara which we govern . We can say that , everyone has his own Samsara .It looks like a spiritual guide who manages our activities in the past life, present , and future .
Q.92 – Where does Samsara come from ?
May peace and happiness be upon you always !

Dear Friend,

We wish you a lot of inspiration in collecting answers to your questions and publishing them in separate book.

The origin of samsara is ignorance or unawareness (Skt. Avidya, tib. Marigpa). Samsara can never be spiritual guide. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, their teachings/Dharma and the community of virtuous Buddhist practitioners are spiritual guides. These are the three Jewels of Refuge : Buddha-Dharma-Sangha. By receiving the Refuge and corresponding vows of personal liberation (Pratimoksha vows- Five ethical precepts of Buddhism) one actualy become the follower of Lord Buddha Shakyamuni and of all Buddhas . To understand the origin of samsara one must study , recite and contemplate the Wish-granting prayer of Samantabhadra : see related Visual Dharma. Introductory verses teach directly about the View of Dharmakaya :

The base of everything is unformed.

Self-existing wide space beyond expression

Has no name of samsara and nirvana.

When you realise this,

you are a buddha.

When you don´t realise this,

You are in samsara wondering sentient being.

As Kunzang Gongpa Zhangtal teaches us, there are two kinds of ignorance : unattentive consciousness and disturbance and conceptual ignorance. Unattentive consciousness means wondering thoughts, depression/sleepiness or agitation. Conceptual ignorance means grasping after concepts without understanding their true meaning.  Buddha Samantabhadra is praying at the end of Kunzang Gongpa Zhangtal :

Primordial base of all beings

Is the same as mine, the Buddha.

Yet they have entered in the ground of confussion and unawareness

And now they perform useless actions.

Six activities are like illussion of the dream.

And with this always excellent wish-granting prayer

May all beings without exception

Realise enlightenment in the Dharmadhatu.

2. Drew, United Kingdom :

“Hey, I feel i am being more and more affected by negative desire, as sexual imagery is portrayed more and more openly in our society. Any advice on how to rise above it? Thanks.”

Yes, Drew, there are concrete spiritual advices.

It is true that we are all exposed to erotic imaginary and pornography on internet , tv , some newspapers and magazines. Those in this lucrative industry know exactly human weaknesses and desires. Pornographic videos on youtube have much greater watches like for example our Visual Dharmas . Some have many millions views. This show how much this negative industry is spread all over the world also with the help of internet ! Many people are sex addicts , which is another kind of adiction, along with alcohol, drugs, tobacco. There is excellent movie : Anger management! with programme how to heal TAS = Toxic anger syndrom and other addictions.  Adam Sandler and Jack Nicolson played great role in that movie.

To overcome excitement and attachment to negative images of desire , like pornography etc. one must keep one´s body, speech and thoughts pure all the time. It is very helpful to not eat pungent herbs like garlic, onios and asafoetida at all, because these pungent herbs increase sexual desires. This is well know fact in Ayurvedic medicine. One should also stop eating meat, because with meat eating one´s anger also increase. In Buddhist wholesome medicine we recommend purification whole body tonics , Vajrasattva practice ; see related Visual Dharma. We also recommend daily Chikung energy workout, to relax and balance the energy flow. We also recommend daily meditations and recitation of Prayers: like Homage to Buddha Manjushri (see related Visual dharma). These are concrete spiritual advices that can be used by everyone. May it be beneficial and may peace, unselfish love and virtues prosper in the world.

“During the Ming dynasty a Buddhist called Wang Cheng was always willing to help others, especially orphans and the poor.

Every day Wang chanted Buddhist sutras or scripture. In general, he was very pius, but for some reason, there was one rule of Buddhism that he did not obey : he was not a vegetarian.

He lived during a bad period. There were many disasters. Bandits and outlaws roamed the country. Wang was worried. He heard that a monk living in a cave practiced Buddhism so hard that he could tell the past and the future. He knew the causes of present conditions and the effects the future would bring. Wang decided to visit him for instruction, even though the way was long and dangerous.

Finnaly, after many difficulties, Wang reaced the monk`s cave. He addressed the monk . “Your heavenly honour, the world today is full of bandits and outlaws. The people are oppressed by those bearing weapons. We do not know how to keep living. We living creatures are drowning in the sea of disasters. We call upon you, sir, to show mercy by giving as a hand and helping us survive.”

The monk smiled. “You are Wang Cheng, aren´t you ?”

Wang was startled. “Yes, sir, but how could you know my name ?” What is your honor´s instruction ?”

If you can not be a vegetarian, you are just wasting our time with this questions.”

Wang continued asking questions, but the monk have no more to say to him, so Wang had to go home and think over what he had learned. He decided that he really did have to stop eating carcasses of dead animals.

Several years later, Wang presented himself at the cave again. When the monk saw him, he laughed. “That it`s  more like it! You have understood and you have finally taken the teachings of mercy to heart.

We live in treacherous times. The country is full of bandits. Only those who do not kill may live in peace. This is the balance of the universe.”

With that, the monk closed his eyes and continued his meditation.

Wang Cheng returned home to tell everybody that nobody who kills any living creature can hope for peace, because killing causes killing. If you eat meat, you are responsible for many deaths. So even if you do good deeds, you can not enjoy true peace. To enjoy peace , you have to earn it by creating peace, not suffering. The best way to do that is to respect all life and eat only vegetarian food.”

Commentary by Tara Tulku Rinpoche:

This precious story is found  in the Dharma book THE LOVE OF LIFE, published for free distribution by the Buddha Educational Foundation, Taipei, Taiwan. Buddha Dharma obtained it in 1994. We rarely see in the Dharma books such notice: Reproduction welcomed. All parts of this book may be reproduced without written permission. Any part of this book may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval systems, or transmitted in any form or by any means electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording  or other. Please share this with everyone you know !

Theater actor Sandi Pavlin recited it in a heart felt way during the Interfaith dialogue about Religions and ethic (Cultural and congress centre Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana, Slovenia, in October 1998) that we organised.

Taking the teachings of mercy to heart :

This story is A-live also nowdays when many people suffer because of natural disasters, regressive economy and war conflicts. When we and many other spiritual groups, few religious leaders and awake individuals always first ask that one must become a life long vegetarian, some may even be offended, because we repeat this again and again. “Please, take the teachings of mercy to your heart and don´t eat dead bodies of animals any more ! By becoming a vegetarian you will save your own peace, save yourself, saving lives of animals and the world peace. World peace first begins in every being or as the story teaches as: Mercy begins at the dinner table ! You will earn your own peace by creating peace, not suffering! Take this Dharma advice to your heart today. Do not hesistate : there are recipes for high quality vegetarian food published at OBF Group Buddhist Wholesome Medicine and elsewhere. Supreme master TV also have much advice. We are glad that many vegetarians and vegans are among friends  of Buddha Dharma. Follow these noble ways of living from today onwards. There are more than 600 millions of Buddhists in the world today. If they all become vegetarians soon, how many lives of fishes and other animals would be saved and not being killed for the food ?! Buddhist practitioners must take teaching about mercy to the heart. It is not sincere to invoke the blessings of Avalokiteshvara or Quan Yin Bodhisattvas of mercy/compassion and still eat meat ! We must be sincere in our Dharma practice if we wish to proceed in spiritual path toward Enlightenment of the Buddhas. Buddhas always see how sincere we are, because Buddhas are omni-present and all-knowing. They see directly in our hearts . I pray that more and more religious leaders would begin promoting the true teachings of mercy and compassion by being vegetarians , saving lives. We are glad that H.H. Gyalwa Karmapa XVII. ordered to all Dharma centres and practitioners in Karma Kagyu Buddhist tradition not to eat meat any more. Video on youtube show this.

Venerable Mangala Konchok Norbu – Dharma art director of our Buddhist channel on youtube, also signed the petition about Stop eating meat and Heal our planet ! We invite everyone to sign this important petition today – don´t wait long. It will take you only few minutes. You can even write your own comment after signing it. Dear Friends,

I have just read and signed the petition: “Stop eating Meat – and heal our Planet!”. Please take a moment to read about this important issue, and join me in signing the petition. It takes just 30 seconds, but can truly make a difference. We are trying to reach 10.000 signatures – please sign here: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/fleischverbot

Untill June 12 , 2009 2378 people around then world already signed the petition, among them many from China and Taiwan. The aim is to collect 10.000 signatures in short time. Don´t hesistate to sign it today. Everyone can do it . Tell yourself every day : Yes, I can become and remain a vegetarian ! Yes, I can do it !

I have a rather perplexing question to ask you about. Can I help others to remove negative karma in this life? Sorry how my question sounds arrogant , depending on the fact that I am a young male in his thirties – fourties.

“Yes, you can help others to remove negative karma in this life to certain extend. Pray for others as taught for example in the Visual Dharma: Avalokiteshvara Buddha of Compassion and dedicate the merit to all beings. If you wish, add the name of those to whom you especially dedicate the merit of your spiritual Dharma practice. The best way is to

meditate and pray daily, with concentration and devotion. To do this one must become a vegetarian and compassionate being  with the Bodhicitta of aspiration and application, received at Mahayana refuge ceremony and at taking the Bodhisattva vows. One must also study what negative or unvirtuous ( pali: akusala ) karma means, related to ten unvirtuous actions of one´s body, speech and mind. Spiritual practitioner gradualy changes these unvirtuous deeds from previous and present lives into practicing only virtuous deeds. We encourage everyone to follow on the Footsteps of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, for liberation from samsara or cyclic existence. May your life be auspicious !

Dear venerable Sir , thank you so much for your best gift of dharma .  That is my new question from Buddhism , please enjoy it , thank you .
Some of you wrote that : The mind was born in Samsara because of cause and effect of Karmic energy which is producted by the action ( Karma ) from body , speech and mind ,feeling , but it does not mean it comes from Samsara, it retains its own identity .
Q.91 – If the mind has its own identity , is it eternal ?
May peace and happiness be upon you always !

Your question remembers me to the Dharma retreat with His Eminence Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche, held at the Adria sea side in the city of Ankaran, Slovenia, EU. It was in March 1994 . His teaching was entitled : Meditation in action (explanation of first eight chapters of Bodhisattvacaryavatara). Since we transcribed the whole teaching and published it in the Dharma book of Vajra-Garuda publications, we just quote from there :

“Rinpoche asked the student : What is the definition of the soul ? Student: This is something which we can not see , but it´s permanent (eternal).

Rinpoche: Is the soul aware? Does it has consciusness ?

Student : Yes.

Rinpoche: You see: you said that the soul is permanent and that its aware of something, that its aware : for a Buddhist this is contradictory statement. If the soul is permanent – this permanence can not consit of any action. Action means that it has beginning and the end and this is impermanence. If the soul is permanent, it doesn´t have to know anything. If it knows, there is beginning of knowing, middle of knowing and end of knowing.

Student: Christians don´t speak about the beginning- soul was created by the God. Rinpoche: Until there is movement, it has the beginning. If you say: God is movement and the God created everything – this is contradictory for a Buddhist. For a Buddhist permanence means “something” which is not influenced by the time. For our ordinary mind permanence means something which lasts very long, isn´t it ? Something which always lasts. Actualy Buddhists doesn´t believe in being which would permanently exist. From yesterday till today something continued and this includes time. Yesterday is gone, death, suffering; today is going by, tomorrow did not yet appear. When it appears- birth, new suffering. Everything that exists in time, is suffering. Now we can discuss…

Another student: We also speak about primordial wisdom….

Rinpoche: Primordial wisdom is beyond permanence and impermanence. It is not permanent and not impermenent. Primordial wisdom is beyond our concepts. Primordial wisdom does not create anything…

Another student: Can we connect ourselves with it ?

Rinpoche: In the relative world we practice the Dharma; in absolute world you don´t even connect…There is nothing what could be connected. People´s description of the soul is very influenced by the circumstances. Soul can not be killed. That is true _ Buddha nature can not be killed. But the soul created phenomena. What is than the purpose of the soul ? Buddha nature doesn´t have the aim, it is beyond aims.

Student: Then the soul is absolute reality!

Rinpoche: Now you describe the soul with Buddhist terms (Laughter). Only changing of the names- soul or Buddha nature- doesn´t mean anything. What is then the soul for Christians ?

Student : Soul is consciousness and that is the permanent state.

Rinpoche: But this is contradictory : if the soul is permanet, it can not be aware. There is no permanent consciousness. To be aware means to know. All what includes the knowing, includes the time.

Student: How can then people which are reincarnated, remember their previous lives ?

Rinpoche: There is no need for that. Everything is the Mind. Buddhists don´t speak about the soul. Everything is the Mind. Body and mind have many connections: body is like the vessel, Mind is like it´s content. If you break the vessel there are also many troubles with the content. But the destruction of the vessel doesn´t mean also the destruction of it´s content.

Student: This is Sambhogakaya.

Rinpoche: But Sambhogakaya is not the soul. Relatively speking: the Sambhogakaya is the quality of Buddha nature. If you only replace the word soul with Buddha nature, we can aggree now. “

Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche was here teaching with the example of the tea cup as presented in B. Bertolucci´s movie: Little Buddha. Rinpoche was Buddhist advisor in this excellent movie.

Do you know of anyway I can cure High Blood Pressure? If I can remove this disorder from my system, then I will definitely reach enlightenment in this lifetime.

Dear young Friend, since you are only 12 years old, you will surely enthusiastically apply this advice from BUDDHIST WHOLESOME MEDICINE .

There are many psychological factors for high blood pressure :

living in unhealthy environment, daily stress, too much ambition, too much internet involvements, family disharmonie, not enough daily relaxation and sport.

Meat eating habit  increases high blood pressure , since with meat one also imports a lot of stress hormones in the meat. When animals are killed they experience a lot of fear, stress and suffering. Scientists have measured stress hormones in the meat. No animal wish to die and become our food !

Preventive therapy:

1.Learn to practice Relaxation meditation as taught by Shifu John Chow in our previous teachings.

2.Practice daily Chi Kung Energy workout twice daily, in the morning 10 min and late afternoon 10 min. This will improve circulation of energy and blood circulation.

3.Become a vegetarian , using only high quality vegetarian food with a lot of soya proteins (obtainable also in fitness studios). No junk food. Soya must come from organic growth. Ask the provider about this. Also use Universal healing tonic, provided by us. This will purify, balance , tonify and improve your energy and blood pressure.

4.Pray and meditate daily. For learning it is good to recite Homage to Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom. See related Visual Dharma.

You see , there are a lot of possibilities to lower the blood pressure. I wrote them in practical and easy to understand  manner. Because no medical theory and prevention can help if one does not apply it daily with diligence and awareness. Our young Friend, may your wish to become enlightened in this life, be fulfilled without obstacles.
