There ain’t no chains strong enough to hold me
Ain’t no breeze big enough to slow me
Never have seen a river that’s too wide
There ain’t no jail tight enough to lock me
Ain’t no man big enough to stop me
I’ll be there if you ever want me by your side
There ain’t no rope stout enough to bind me
Look for me, honey, you will find me
Any old time, get ready with your charm
I’ll be there ready and a-waiting
There won’t be any hesitating
I’ll be there if you ever want me in your arms
Love me, if you’re ever going to love me
Never have seen a road too rough to ride
There ain’t no chain strong enough to hold me
Ain’t no breeze big enough to slow me
I’ll be there if you ever want me by your side

Clarifying wrong views
with the Wisdom sword of Manjushri
Wrong views belong to the domain of mind – consciousness or thinking. Unless one has truly awakened innate wisdom awareness, wrong views are difficult to detect. One must hold the sword of Manjushri to clarify wrong views in one´s own thinking and concepts.
When Buddhism was introduced from India to China in first centuries of the first millenium it was on many occassions interpreted with the help of Taoist terminology. We must use wisdom of discernment or prajna to understand that Taoism or Tao is not the same as buddha nature or Tathagatagharba. Buddha nature is not the same as universal consciousness. Achievement of the universal consciousness still belongs to the higher realms of samsara or cyclic existence. But our buddha nature is completely liberated from samsara . Pure lands of the Buddha Rupakaya which are Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya expressions of the stainless Dharmakaya, are not heavens of the higher samsaric realms.
Buddhist masters sometimes don´t use such wisdom of discernment which is sixth paramita or perfection. Without first five perfections there is no prajna. Without all nine perfections there is no jnana- yeshe or perfection of primordial wisdom : Wisdom of our pure and spontaneously perfect buddha nature, manifesting itself through primordialy pure, spontaneously present Sound and Wisdom lights.
Masters who are trying to be very universal and who are by all means trying to collect disciples, sometimes don´t purify wrong views. If they would do so, their so called students would probably run away to another master, who just let them beleive that everything is the same.
Formlessness belong to the formless realms of samsara. Formlessness is not Dharmakaya or the Truth body of the Buddhas. May path clarify confussion. Here I am teaching from the aspects of the Ati Yoga path – practice. Many uneducated Ati Yoga or Dzogchen practitioners think that formlessness is the achievement of the Ati Yoga view, which is Dharmakaya. Formlessness or non-thought is one of the experiences on the Ati Yoga path. If one becomes attached to such experiences, this becomes obscuration. Such practitiones don´t have the correct view of Dzogchen. For a long time I analised the teachings of Masters who teach in very universal way, equaling Tao with Buddha nature or even Jesus with Buddha. Why they are doing this ? Because this appeals to the majority of their public. Without holding wrong view such public will scatter around.
Holding wrong views is also very comfortable for the ego. It is ego´s last domain where he/she can hide. In wrong views ego is not endangered at all. He builds around himself the citadel of more wrong views, true fortress. But the ego in the fortress of wrong views is somehow insecure. He is like the frog in the well, explouding when he sees immeasurable ocean-wisdom. There is nothing to hide any more. One is completely exposed. There are no fancy dresses of religious hierarchy, no extravagant religious empowerments and importance. One is completely naked. Naked Samantabhadra Buddha, our true buddha nature, waiting to be discovered as secret treasure in everyone of us. We can discover our primordial purity through spontaneously present self-liberated Sound and Wisdom Lights.
When Samantabhadra´s Sound and Light are discovered in our awareness through direct introduction from the authentic Buddhist master, we know that conciousness is the skanda or one of the five aggregates. Even if it is called universal conciousness, it is still the skanda or aggregate. Even in chan or zen practice skandas are called five dusts. One does not rely on them. We no longer depend on skanda of consciousness, we rely on Vajrasattva Buddha. The Sambhogakaya aspect of Dharmakaya Buddha Samantabhadra.
Those who practice so called „Tibetan Buddhism“ arrogantly proclaim how translations of Buddhist works from Sanskrit into Tibetan are superior to all other translations. Yet, when I researched for a long period how many partial and theoretical meanings they imposed to the word initiation one can only smile . Word initiation has so many partial and theoretical meanings as there are translations. Ati Yoga or Dzogchen view does not rely on theoretical speculations of what it could possibly be. Ati Yoga view is relying on direct experience of our self-liberated buddha nature and the wisdom of all Tathagatas.
There are also many wrong views about first paramita or perfection of generosity. If Buddhists think that they must first become rich in order to practice generosity and the Path of the Buddha, this is wrong view. Such practitioners will never obey the words of Guru Padmasambhava and will never practice ten Dharmic activities. Instead they will sell the dharma as merchandise. Some Buddhists only go to the ceremonies and empowerments with the wish to become rich in samsaric world, never carying about wisdom. They run from one initiation to another, collecting empowerments and becoming addicted to empowerments. Addiction to empowerments is very dangerous addiction. One become immune for the Dharma – true panacea. Even diligent daily meditation without proper motivation to liberate oneself from samsara is just another samsaric practice. Many practitioners who practice in this style, truly don´t progress on the Buddha Path. In such countries Buddhism is closely mixed with nationality and with cultural habits. People are very religious outside, but materialistic inside. People eat corpses of dead sentient beings (i.e. meat) and they still claim to be Buddhists. People drink alcohol but they still claim to be Buddhists. There were many studies about Himalayan greatest problem , that of alcoholism ! Such practitioners don´t take Buddhist teaching to heart and are only outside Buddhists, not Buddhists with wisdom…
We must be generous by practicing and teaching Buddha Dharma for our liberation and for the sake of all sentient beings. Being generous does not mean to sell the Dharma as merchandise, to sell Buddhist books, statues of Buddhas , paintings of Buddhas or other religiuous implements. Such non-dharmic activities will only further bind us to samsara and prevent the awakening of our innate buddha nature. Without dana paramita or perfection of generosity there are no other nine perfections. Buddha´s Path starts with the first step and that is generosity. Generosiy is first step in releasing grasping or the samsaric „grip of the crocodile“.
Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are unendingly generous. They manifest to guide sentient beings, to encourage them in liberation. Why shouldn´t we be generous as Bodhisattvas ?!
Buddha Padmasambhava is extremely generous. He dictated many secret treasures and Wisdom Dakini Yeshe Tshogyal has hidden them for the sake of future generations. We must be generous enough to practice and teach these secret treasure Dharmas, to uphold them and promote them with generosity, not as merchandise. Generosity is secret jewel of the Vajra heart, shining everywhere in unlimited Oneness.
There are also many wrong views about the lineage. Buddhist organisatoins which are organised in a way of having headquarters and local chapters often appoint local leaders and give certificates that such and such chapter belong to their lineage. It can happen that misunderstanding arise because of the lack of communications or unwillingness to communicate; one is also not obedient enough or one does not contribute enough money, one is not successful in so called dharma bussiness. Headquarters with the board of directors then revome so called certificate and expell the local leader or local chapter. It is the same as in any other samsaric organisation like multi-national trade companies who train their employees how to become skillful marketing managers.
In the Buddha Dharma – Open Buddhist Forum International our skillful means are compassion according to the Teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni and Buddha Padmasambhava, practicing ten Dharmic activities to teach and promote pure Dharma. Buddhist lineage of Ati Yoga is not given with so called lineage certificate. True Buddhist lineage does not have an owner and we don´t steal from the Treasure of Dharmadhatu. Lineage of Ati Yoga is not like buying the licence or concession for some product. When Garab Dorje, the first human Master of Ati Yoga was about to leave this world upon hearing the crying of his heart disciple Manjushrimitra , he didn´t give him some lineage certificate. He gave him his Testament with three short Statements or Dharmas. Garab Dorje did not said to Manjushrimitra : „You are now my lineage holder. Be successful dharma bussinessman and propagate this Dharma in greedy bussinessman style!“
True Buddhist lineages always start in Dharmakaya. They are not man- made. It is non-conceptual and non-intellectual. Is not like buying trade licence or concession…. If Buddha nature would be available through concession, somebody could still remove it from us. Or we could buy it and give it back, if we would not like it. But it´s innate, inherently present. Nobody can give it to us and nobody can remove it from us. And this is true glory of Buddha´s teaching : self-liberation. We are very grateful to all Bodhisattvas who helped us to discover and abide in buddha nature, but we don´t worship them as gods. Worshiping has dangerous aspect of idolising and we would remain in the golden cage. Idolising somebody is very ignorant behaviour. True Guru Yoga does not mean that we need to idolise anyone. Gods can not lead us to liberation, but the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas can…
Because of the merit from previous lives one can receive all-embracing empowerment from Guru Padmasambhava himself at an early stage in one´s life, as many treasure revealers or tertöns have received. But such Masters, especialy when they were educated in non-buddhist environment , must still study and practice with authentic lineage masters of the unbroken kama lineage, otherwise wrong views are not purifyed. One can remain with same wrong views for decades into one´s old age. This would be great pity !
In order to purify wrong views and obscurations I wrote this Dharma that spontaneously appeared in my compassionate awareness. May all Buddhist practitioners who still hold wrong views be BRAVE enough to cut their wrong views with the Wisdom sword of Noble Manjushri, the wisdom of all Buddhas.
May everyone become Vidyadhara – Rigpa Dzinpa, lineage holders of the Buddha-
