 Dear Friends ,

Fulfil yourself with four immeasurables every day. Fulfil yourself with equanimity (upeksa)  without attachment and aversion, with joy (mudita), with compassion (karuna) and with loving kindness (maitri). Everyone of us must be good mother to our innate Buddha nature, nourishing four immeasurable in ourselves and bring Buddha Dharma concretely in our lives. As it is said in the LIGHT OF DHARMA 2012 : Life is so impermanent , yet our Buddha nature is unimpeded continuity of Sound * Light of our True nature . As Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche is teaching in open webcast : We don´t need to seek three kayas ourside ourselves. Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya are in ourselves. With this awareness we can continue with confidence in Natural state . May the Light and Love of Amitabha Buddha shine in everyone of us .  Happy, blessed, peaceful and loving 365 days of 2012

Yes. seeing videos about killing of animals for meat is great motivation for all to become vegetarians. I became vegan after 25 years of vegetarian diet after seeing videos about milk production and suffering of animals. GO VEG. BE GREEN. SAVE THE PLANET !

In this Teachings we focus on Lights, Sounds and Frequencies , being confident that in 21^st Century this Knowledge will become most important for all humanity. Christmas is also celebration of Light which we share with all.

I. INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR CONTEMPORARY BUDDHIST STUDIES

1.1. BUDDHISM & CONTEMPLATIVE SCIENCE : Lights, sounds and frequencies

Time, space and Knowledge

With increase of interconnectedness of contemporary world through internet publishing there is more exchange between Buddhist science and evolving contemplative science and neurobiology. Time, space and Knowledge or Awareness of time and space  was experienced Reality of many meditators in previous centuries.

In 20. and beginning of 21^st Centuries few independent scientists like Nikola Tesla, Andrija Puharic and others investigated relation between Lights and Sound frequencies. This field of knowledge remained almost ukknown to generalpublic, is not part of school curriculum and is labelled by conventional science as mysterious . Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche wrote about Magic and Mysterious : “The Buddhas Wisdom Mind is unobstructed and always benefit everyone without  intention through pure mysterious wisdom energy which pervades all the elements and is always free.”

Lights, sounds and frequencies

are speciality of Bardo cycle of Teachings delivered  by second Buddha Padmasambhava and discovered by tertön Karma Lingpa in 14^th Century.

As it is said in the Inspiration Prayer for deliverance from the dangerous Pathways of the bardo :

“May the rainbow of the elements not rise up as enemies,

May I see the realm of all the buddhas.

May the sounds, lights and rays not rise up as enemies ,

May I see the infinite realms of Peaceful and Wrathful Ones,

May I know all sounds as my own Sound,

May I know all lights as my own Light,

May I know all rays as my own rays,

May I spontaneously know the bardo as myself,

May I attain the realms of the three kayas. “

Inter-connectedness of material and spiritual

As shown on the Planetary Harmonics below: light-sound-brain frequencies correspond with each other in particular ways. It is interesting to see that 8 Hz frequency corresponds to green light. In Ati Yoga * Dzogchen there are preceise explanations about function of prana or lung which is  inner air element of human body. We can say : as long there is enough of green forest on our Earth, planet will breath . Deforestations bring imbalances in elements , stronger winds and related disasters. Our inner air element  /5 winds  dissolves into consiousness and space  in the bardo of dying (Chikai bardo). This process is precisely explained in Dzogchen tantra Rigpa Rangshar and in Tsele Natsog Randrol Dharma work Mirror of Mindfulness .

A-fter Word :

This writing serves as initial research which will surely be continued . May it serves as inspiration to all to progress on the spiritual Path toward Enlightenment. Toward realisation of Rainbow Body of Light. Indeed many Ati Yoga Dzogchen meditators in past centuries became completely realised through the contemplation * Samadhi of the Sound as taught by Dzogchen master Vimalamitra who accomplished the Light Body of great Transference , the same as Guru Padmasambhava and few other masters . May the River of Blessings from their Wisdom awareness be always present in us , hearable as the natural Sound * Light of Dharmata, great rainbow sphere , Thigle Chenpo. May their inseparable Vajra Teachings beyond explanations in  words rejuvenate our Wisdom Body, until we become the same as they are : primordially pure Samantabhadra Buddha , Universal Goodness within every sentient being.

“The Pythagorean musical scale is simply based on whole number progression of 8 Hertz as the fundamental frequency to create the note “C.” That is, 8 Hz. raised 6 octaves is 512 Hz. This drops the pitch of the conventional musical scale–from middle C being 523 Hz. to middle C being 512 Hz. Eight hertz is very close to the Schumann Resonance of 7.8 Hz. “

Dr.Andrija Puharic was extraordinary Croatian scientist . He researched about 8 Hz frequency : “Dr. Andrija Puharich demonstrated in the late 1970s (Proto-Communication II), that 8 Hz could not be blocked by any electromagnetic shielding metal or even a triple vacuum. Which implies that it rotates through the Virtual (Everywhere and Everywhen) and quantum non-local hyperspace, constantly. “

Einstein states that the body would transform into pure energy:
the resurrection/ascension of the Gnostic traditions of the west,
the Rainbow Body and Diamond Body as it is known to the Tibetan Buddhists and Taoists of the far east.8 Hz then is possible the key to such a potential
full Sovereign brain activation.”

Andrija Puharic in an interview published on net : ” >8 Hz magnetic frequency-the same vibration emitted by crystals. This is universal.”

‎8 Hz is called Earth frequency, but this is not correct. It is that the orbits of the planets were interpreted by the mathematician Schumann as tonal frequencies. One thing Schumann discovered is that there is exactly one octave between the Earth orbiting the Sun (Low SA or C#) and the Earth revolving around its own axis (High SA or C#). Translated into frequencies that is about 8 Hz. From this one could say that the Earth is moving in tune with an orgasmic frequency, but not that 8Hz is Earth Frequency. The Earth being in balance in its Orbit, is like a human in MICRO COSMIC ORBIT, also tuned to the the 8 Hz ‘Universal Love’ frequency. Yes, it’s quite a complicated subject. That’s what I meant by saying we cannot just call that ‘earth frequency’. There is a lot more to consider. We are talking about an interval, where the harmony depends on the middle tone, producing the accord. Then there is the Earth Year, where the Earth revolves around the sun, and the Platonic Year, where the Earth’s axis follows the path of the Sun’s alignment in respect to the Zodiac. Then there is the magnetic field resonance. And when applying all this to the human voice, there is the thing that the natural ground tone for a person is not necessarily ‘C’. But, like in Indian Music, where C is called pure SA (C#), and the SA which is the natural ground tone for a person or a composition can vary. But still, singing SAREGAMA in your own pitch, will produce the harmonics and in the end bring you back to the Schumann resonance. ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པ་དྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།

Coming back to the original question, about the Primordial Pulse in the Kidneys, one could say that the Kidney Pulse is the individuals unique harmonic of the Heaven and Earth Pulse, which relates it to the (person’s specific pitch of) ॐ OM. In Taoist Inner Alchemy the Kidney Pulse represents your Original Life Force or 元精 Yuan Jing (Chi), which resulted from the Heaven and Earth Union enacted by the parents making love.

NASA researchers had announced that the next solar maximum would be the strongest since the historic maximum in 1859. As we approach the solar maximum in 2012, the next 12 to 24 months we’ll see a historic and possibly record breaking bombardment of energy waves hitting planet earth.

Everyone will be relatively tall & slim in stature. This is simply the nature of having a body composed of crystalline cellular structure. You will also be ‘lighter’ in terms of… being infused with light. Not opaque like you are today, not completely translucent, but very translucent.

Children will transform as well. But in terms of age appearance, they will continue to develop as young children, into young adults, only now along the adjusted, normal, ‘time line’ of thousands of years for 4th dimensional people.

For most adults who choose to remain on Earth during this time of change, we will look approximately in the 32 -35 year old age range. In terms of height, for a comparison, an average 3D male today at 5’10″…the equivalent 4th dimensional male will be about 7ft tall, this is the average height for a 4D man. A 5’5″ – 5’6″ 3D Earth woman will likely be about 6’2″ living a 4D life. An average 4D Earth man will weigh in Earth terms about: 10-15 pounds. An average 4D Earth woman will weigh about: 5-7 pounds. Everyone will be relatively trim, tall, slim in stature. Again, this is simply due to the nature of having a body composed of crystalline cellular structure.

In terms of overall health, 4D Earth humans will be healthy, very healthy, full of light. With our solar system and Earth’s migration into the 4th dimensional zone of space, 3D diseases will all be literally eradicated.

The way we currently measure time on Earth — this will change once Earth becomes a completely 4D planet. Watching, measuring, experiencing time… this will virtually go away. Plan for this to completely come into effect by January 2014.

There is absolutely no doubt that Vegan diet raises frequency of human energy : many vegans report that after about one year of vegan diet they feel more light . If we practice virtues in so important times as they are now, with increasing solar activity , we can progress more easily toward En-light-ment .

I.Enlightened lineage of supreme Nirmanakaya  Padmasambhava originates in Dharmakaya Samantabhadra , Sambhogakaya Amitabha Buddha, continues in Yeshe Tsogyal and in lineage masters of Nyingma Vajrayana Buddhism. When Guru Padmasambhava stayed in Tibet for 55 years , Yeshe Tsogyal wrote down and concealed  many secret treasures, later revealed by Nyang Ral Nyima Öser and Sangye Lingpa.  Dakini Teachings comes in the form of conversation between the Guru and the Dakini . Most important Dharma in this regard is :”Descend with the View, ascend with the conduct.It is most essential to practice these two as a unity.”

II.In this Visual Dharma-spiritual Guidance for 3^rd millennium – empowered with the natural Sound*Light of Dharmata, we selected few verses ,said  by Guru Rinpoche who speaks all languages and who visited all places. These verses must be taken to ones heart.Lotus-born guru speaks through Vajra Speech of unimpeded continuity of Dharmata * Thigle chenpo, to everyone of us. “If you wish to perceive the meaning of Dharmata,you must follow a master.” Direct introduction to natural Sound*Light of Dharmata * innate Buddha nature is given from Nyingma Ati Yoga Dzogchen master to all worthy students .Guru Rinpoche has limitless manifestations , myriads of magical apparitions , accomplishing the welfare of beings. We can not limit ever-present Guru to one race, nation or  place …His emanations are omni-present . As it is said :”The sunlight does not conceive of benefiting beings.In the same way two dimensions (Dharmakaya & Rupakaya) hold no concepts of acting for the welfare of beings. Welfare of beings result from the power of aspiration…Dharmakaya is unfabricated innate nature*dharmata, profound naturalness,beyond arising and ceasing and devoid of constructs.Sambhogakaya is the enjoyment of naturally existing wisdom of awareness,because the kayas and wisdoms are present within the continuity of the innate nature*dharmata of your mind. Nirmanakaya is compassion born out of wisdom,magically displayed and manifest in all ways.”Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche invoked  Guru Padmasambhava in the Offering praise :”All fortunate beings are guided on the miraculous path to the lotus filed of Buddha Amitabha by the blessing of your divine magical activity.” To receive blessings of Guru padmasambhava we sing Seven-line invocation and His Vajra Guru mantra which is the essence of His Speech/Energy. “With concentration are difficulties,
if one look tv, too much internet (Facebook !) or too much conversations with others.
For developing concentration one need peaceful environment first.
It is good to recite HOMAGE TO BUDDHA MANJUSHRI every morning and to recite His mantra every day 108 times aloud. Best is to sing this mantra aloud. Try to be vegetarian and never taste any alcohol. This is according to pancasila or 5 ethical precepts for Buddhists.

Awareness did not arise on the ground.” Other way to translate this is : “….did not recognise the Ground.”

‎”By relaxing cognition as it is
May their awareness take its seat.
May they attain the wisdom of discrimination.” Other translation : “Relax in natural state, thus mastering natural state of awareness and realize the wisdom of discernment.”

Aspiration of Samantabhadra is translated also as WISH-GRANTING PRAYER OF SAMANTABHADRA Kunzang Gongpa Zhangtal. Gongpa is much more than only aspiration. It is ” direct transference to the dinamic of Kuntu Zangpo- primordial Buddha Samantabhadra”.

OM SVASTI It is so precious that Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche gives open webcast teachings of Dzogchen. I still remember that I have to drive about 900 km one way to reach Merigar Dzogchen community in Italy to receive Dzogchen teachings, lungs and transmissions from Rinpoche in June 1989 onwards.  I repeated these Dharma journeys sometimes even twice a year to attend Teachings and retreat there . Twenty –one years later we can listen to Dzogchen teachings by following webcasts at our homes, Dharma centres or retreat centres. I was listening from Ati Yoga Ling, my retreat centre in South Austria.

      As I came back to this world as a Bodhisattva , to serve the Teachings of Buddhas and uphold lineage of natural Sound of Dharmata (chönyid kyi rangdra) , I am  always very interested in Dzogchen teachings and transmissions of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche. I believe that in contemporary times Rinpoche is among very few Dzogchen masters  who give such precious instructions about Dzogchen, our natural state. Even when I followed his Teachings at Merigar, I always wrote everything down . Notes of all retreats that I attended are in Buddha Dharma archive.It is so good that Rinpoche is teaching in English. This is one more sign of his great compassion and dedication  .I also like Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoches precision about time. His Dharma teachings are well organised : Rinpoche  starts on time and  finish according to the schedule. This all is practical application of Presence and awareness in daily activities….Therefore I shared Dharma notes from this Teachings on open webcast with more than 2800 of my friends on Facebook. And in this A-live Dharma teachings I share this Knowledge with you, dear Reader at the Heritage of Mankind-Treasure of pure Dharma. Most important explanations –related with natural Sound of Dharmata, are marked red. There is not much to say about natural Sound of Dharmata. It is wordless transmission .One must turn attention inward …I prepared these Dharma notes in an interactive way, re-publishing also selected comments from my friends on Facebook, as they wrote them. “Guru Yoga is most important in Dzogchen practice. Rinpoche explain about Song of the Vajra in connection with chakras in our body . Sound is the root of Emptiness , Sound is most important for integration into real nature. Song of Vajra is the base of Knowledge of Dzogchen teaching. NATURAL SOUND : Dharmakaya manifest Sambhogakaya through SOUND . Dzogchen tantras explain about this . “

“To be in contemplation means to be in real nature….This is the main path for Realization… To be in state of contemplation is to be beyond mind . …Guru Yoga is also purification. In Song of Vajra we integrate with SOUND. Direct introduction with the experience of Emptiness : this is our Real nature (Dharmata)….RIGPA means Instant presence …

‎”Direct introduction with experience of CLARITY to realize RIGPA. We must integrate everything into our Real nature (Dharmata), into Instant presence or Rigpa. .. It is fantastic to sing Song of Vajra together. This is  important for country, individuals, planet and all sentient beings. Song of Vajra has 6 aspects : liberation through seeing, liberation through hearing / Bardo thödol / Song of Vajra is great cause of liberation, liberation through touch, smelling …Song of Vajra is the cause of liberation of all senses . …”

Chöpa or attitude on the Dzogchen path is to be responsible for yourself, release tensions and don´t give too much importance to tensions which create problems … Buddha said : Life is  big dream .

Rinpoche explains about famuous Shitro empowerment that he received in Tibet from his root Guru Rigdzin Changchub Dorje (accomplished Rainbow Body).

Rinpoche explains in detail about the origin of outer Mandala offering composed by Chögyam Phagpa of Sakya Order.

Rinpoche explains about use of mantras : “One must have good concentration by chanting mantras. In Dzogchen & Anu Yoga way we must go into QUALITY, not so much into QUANTITY. …One must practice in qualified way. “

‎” Our real state is nondual : khadak (peaceful state) and Lhundrub (infinite potentiality of manifestations : Rupakaya= Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya). Mantra of 42 peaceful deities in mandala of heart chakra; mantra of 58 wrathful manifestation in head chakra .

‎”Vajra breathing with OM AH HUM is very powerful practice. OM AH HUM is the essence of all mantras. Inhale with OM, hold breath with AH, exhale with HUM. “Rinpoche teaches how to integrate principal mantra , peaceful and wrathful mantras of Lama Zabdon  series of Teaching – with Vajra breathing.

At the end of todays Dzogchen teaching Rinpoche gives LUNG for Medium Tun practice .

Rinpoche is teaching about local guardians of Tibet, 12 Tenma guardians connected to 12 localities of Tibet and its mountains .

Rinpoche explains about 2 kinds of dedication : Mowa – offering of our merit to others ,like Surmo- offering of tsampa & butter to pretas ; Mönlam – Path of good wishes . Mahayana offering is explained as Korsum Nyimed : giver, gift and receiver are both unreal…said Buddha Shakyamuni

.°*˜❀˜*°• Explanation about the history of this terma- hidden treasure of Rigdzin Changchub Dorje : written as notes in original text by Guru Padmasambhava : This terma will be discovered by Mutig Tsenpo ( son of King Trisong Detsen) with the name of Vajra/Dorje (i.e. Changchub Dorje), in times of kali yuga …(It was astonishing to know that Rigdzin Changchub Dorje was emanation of Mutig Tsenpo . I always felt strong devotion to Rigdzin Changchub Dorje).

Additional notes to terma * hidden treasure : “In the year of wood horse (1894), in 5th lunar month, 7th lunar day, discovered as mind terma by Rigdzin Changchub Dorje who kept it secret until the year of Earth dragon (1928) , 6th lunar month, 10th lunar day of Guru Padmasambhava , began to teach it publicly on that very day .

Rigdzin Changchub Dorje was building many stupas around his area in East Tibet , as instructed by Guru Padmasambhava in this hidden treasure. He also asked Tibetan government in Lhasa to build stupas all around Tibet…They did not build even one special stupa, as instructed ….Chinese invasion could be prevented !

21 action mantras of Arya Tara are all contained in essence mantra.

Rinpoche gives lung transmission of Red Gharuda, special practice of Adzom Drukpa (i.e. previous incarnation of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche).

Lung transmission for Sang offering : offering to local guardians for prosperity in a country. Lung for Namkha empowerment, to harmonize elements of individual. Transmission for Lungta (i.e. Prayer flags) One can empower Prayer flags according to ones age (i.e. 30 ys old , 30 lungtas). Lung of Ödser Chenma : for getting a job, for traveling, sadhana is in yogatantra style. Ödser Chenma practice  with early morning sunshine , eliminating darkness. Invocation 3 or 7 times, add Her main mantra.

Even if asked, they are expected to say: I am happy ! Even if they are not happy…. Anzelle Pieretti I’ve never been to India but I ran a book store in a Gompa in the US for a few years.. and I noticed how badly mistreated the Anni’s were on so many levels… to name a few… we would do month long retreats and the monks always got all of their text’s for free… the Anni’s had to pay for their texts.. with a 20% discount (big of them). The monks ate for free… the Anni’s had to pay for their meals.. and many times there wasn’t enough food for them after the monk’s finished eating

Taratulku Drimed Drolkhar Rinpoche All that you wrote, dear Anzelle and Mohani, is true. I completely agree. There is a video on youtube where ven. Thubten Chödron tells that her feelings as a Buddhist nun to keep low profile, is great obstacle for her. She told this at the meeting in Dharamsala. Then there is courageous Sylvia Wenzel who lead guided meditation about empowerment of women, on that same meeting…. One must never beleive that one must incarnate as a man to become enlightened. That is simply ignorant believe. In Dzogchen tantras it is written that women has greater potentials to become enlightened. 14th Dalai Lama also recognizes that women has greater compassion. He replied very friendly on the occasion of his birthday in 2005 and also later. As a Bodhisattva it is the best to carry on your Dharma work for the benefit of sentient beings and don´t expect much recognition from hierarchical religious patriarchal structures. Empowerment of women comes from self-empowerment, from innate Buddha nature . If one depend too much on religious patriarchal structures , one can not develop new ways of transmitting Buddhist Dharma, but is bound too much by culture and their habits. My advise to all women is not to bow down to men but to have dignity and self respect. Virtuous men will support this- unvirtuous men will oppose this . Gender equality in Buddhism is a process and also one of Millennium Goals of United nations (till 2015). For all of us women this is very encouraging. When protecting our human rights we must look at international standards -like the Millennium Development Goals, not look back to history where women has been and still are discriminated , abused and neglected, esp. in Asia. Empowerment of women has to do with Universal education, emotional, economic independence, equal rights and equal opportunities in all fields of life. We appreciate all who promote and support Gender equality .

2.1. Meeting Buddha Vajrasattva

Dear Friends of Buddha Dharma – OBFI

Her Eminence Tara Tulku Drimed Drolkhar Rinpoche has asked me to write an account of the Vajrasattva retreat I attended this last week with His Eminence Ayang Rinpoche, here in Rochester, New York.  I submit this article as an offering to the lotus feet of all my teachers.

H.E. AYANG RINPOCHE

  Ayang Rinpoche is the holder of the Phowa (transference of consciousness) lineage in both the Drikung Kagyu and the Nyingma traditions.  I knew from the moment I first offered him a katag (a ceremonial white silk scarf) and he placed his hands on my head and spoke a blessing, that I was truly in the presence of a living Bodhisattva.  Ayang Rinpoche is so kind to us, never thinking of his own needs, but always continually turning the dharma wheel of the yanas (vehicles)  in order to benefit countless sentient beings.  The USA headquarters of his organization, The Amitabha Foundation, is located here in Rochester, NY.  We had 94 people sign up for this retreat, about four times what we expected!  It was held here in Rochester at a local hotel.  People came from Mexico, Europe, and Canada to take teachings and empowerment from Ayang Rinpoche.

         The empowerment and teaching that Rinpoche gave us is called the Outer, Inner, Secret, and Innermost Secret Practice of Vajrasattva.  This refers to the categorization of the four tantric yogas according to the Sarma (new translation) schools.  However, let me be clear that this teaching comes from the Nyingma lineage, so in this fashion we would be practicing the equivalent of the upper three yanas in the Nyingma system.

        It was a most precious teaching, and even more precious was the fact that Rinpoche taught us in English, without using a translator, which doubled the time we actually received these deep and liberating teachings from him.  The empowerment itself began on a Thursday evening, and lasted for approximately four hours.  We were given so many detailed visualizations, and although I cannot reveal here publicly the nature of the physical aspects of the empowerments given, suffice it to say, I was myself surprised at the depth of the empowerment.  I have received numerous empowerments, but this took me to a level I always found intimidating before!  Before taking the empowerment, everyone present was required to take refuge vows and bodhisattva vows, because as H.E. Tara Tulku Rinpoche will tell anyone, and I stand behind her all the way on this, it is quite impossible to receive such high teachings as this without the proper vows set in place.  This is the correct sequence of events – Refuge vows (6 fold vows – three jewels and three roots), Bodhisattva vows, and Vajrayana empowerments. 

✿❀☆TREASURE OF PURE DHARMA✿❀☆

The first teaching was on the outer practice of Buddha Vajrasattva.  Before detailing this practice Rinpoche gave us teachings on the origin of Vajrasattva, and of his precious 100 syllable mantra, which embodies all the peaceful and wrathful Sambogakaya deities as found in the “Tibetan Book of the Dead.”   This included information on Samabtabhadra, the primordial Buddha according to the Nyingma school.  Tara Rinpoche is the best person to ask if you want more details on the sublime Adi Buddha Samantabhadra. 

HERITAGE OF MANKIND

The outer practice is called Kriya tantra, and consists of visualizing Buddha Vajrasattva on the crown of one’s head, pouring down nectar and cleansing one of all accumulated karma.  There is no better antidote for karma in this Kali-yuga age as the 100 syllable mantra of Vajrasattva!  We actually had hours of teaching and practice on this phase of Vajrasattva practice.  Ayang Rinpoche went into dramatic detail as to the visualizations used to combat all kinds of illnesses, as well as the cause of those afflictions.  We learned how to use this outer practice also to combat against negative beings that have attached themselves to us.

        The inner practice is called Charya Tantra, and in this practice, we begin with the outer practice, then we visualize Buddha Vajrasattva and the principal deities of the mandala radiating at different doors – chakra centers – in different colors and forms.  Charya tantra practices are very common in the Shingon school of Vajrayana in Japan.

         The Secret teaching and practice is what we would call Yoga Tantra.  It entails visualization of ourselves as Buddha Vajrasattva, and all beings as Vajrasattva, and all sounds the sound of his 100 syllable mantra.  This is what we call the creation stage of practice in Vajrayana practice.  I cannot go into details about this, not can I about the next stage, the Innermost Secret practice, which is what we would call AnnutaraYoga, or Highest Yoga Tantra practice.  The Innermost Secret teaching is a very detailed completion stage practice, where all visualizations are dissolved methodically into a certain Tibetan seed syllable, and then that syllable is dissolved into emptiness, allowing us to rest in the true nature of mind.  This is heavily related to Dzogchen/Atiyoga practice, the Great Completion.

          Following the empowerment and two days of teaching and practice, we went to our dharma center here in Rochester for a smoke offering and tsog.  The smoke offering is basically an offering to all local deities and beings to placate them and prevent them from obstructing our practice.  The tsog – meaning “accumulation”, is a feast where much food is offered to Buddha Vajrasattva (as this was a Vajrasattva tsog), and by mantra and visualization, the food is transformed in a blessed, nectar-like state.  The smoke offering and tsog took about 5 hours to complete.  There is countless merit generated from offering the tsog feast.

All friends of Buddha Dharma, listen carefully to me here.  The practice of Vajrasattva is applicable to any student on any level of practice.  It is necessary for purification in the early years of practice, and the practice of Vajrasattva may be done all the way to the Dzogchen/Atiyoga practices.  This is not a practice for the timid, but must be approached with absolute faith in Buddha Vajrasattva and in the Lama giving the empowerment and teachings.  Om Vajrasattva Hum!

2.1. Introduction : Neighbour spoke with me in summer 2010, expressing great fear about chemtrails. I still remember how sceptical I was by listening to him. I am very educated about many topics, but the name chemtrails did not tell me so much…saw this written one the city wall , saw some videos , but was not too much interested about this phenomena ….like so many of us . It demand unbiased attention and approach . One year later I started to research more about chemtrails, seeing them  in the sky of South Austria, NE Slovenia, EU, everything that O knew about them before, became more connected .

When I shared links about chemtrails on Facebook, where I have many friends in the contact list, I was surprised that only few very informed or even interested to know more about chemtrails. It is subconscious fear prohibiting people to be more educated about this. Most people behave like ostrich – putting its head in sand ..not wanting to know…thinking : “It is better not to know…just follow main stream media : If they don´t report about this , then the problem of chemtrails don´t even exist ! or is just another conspiracy theory of some freaked out people J “ People who think in such ignorant ways are already indoctrinated by tv news , Reuter news …they don´t have civil courage to be rightly informed about chemtrails poisoning.  These are relevant questions that we can and must ask :

a)    United nations resolution prohibit geo engineering – but chemtrails poisoning happens in many countries around the globe.  Why ? USA know chemtrails poisoning since 1995 ! and EU from 2011 . Included in chemtrail poisoning are also Australia, Malaysia and some other states. China is excluded . Why ?

b)    Why is discussion about chemtrails closed for editing in the Wikipedia ? No anti-chemtrails texts are allowed in Wikipedia.  

c)     When citizens ask Ministries for environment about chemtrails , they never obtain any clear answers . Why ?

d)    The work of German anti-chemtrail activist show , that most news media and Green Peace is influenced or under control of politicians who prohibit unbiased reporting or even speaking about chemtrails !  Why is chemtrail phenomena marginalized by news media as conspiracy theory ?

2.3. Health protection

Chemtrails contain 17 toxic substances , among them aluminium and barium oxide , bacteria and viruses . Spraying the planet with such poisonous substances has three aims : weather modification – after chemtrails air becomes swiftly colder and more dry in the so called “milky sky “; reduction of population – the aim of new world dis-order . Chemtrails reduce immunity in children , elderly and those with generally weak immunity . Last aim of chemtrail poisoning is destruction of all natural resources .

Chemtrails are harmful for human health . They already caused millions of bee colonies to die . We must also remember recent causes of birds and fishes dying and big masses in USA and other countries (winter 2010). People who collected dead birds from roads and roofs, were all wearing white protective clothing and masks on their faces : clear sign they knew they will come into contact with poisons from chemtrails.

Preventive measures against chemtrails :

* stay in the house / apartment on the days of chemtrails. See the videos to differentiate between contrails and chemtrails .

* Use strong air purifier / ioniser in  rooms .

* Detoxify your body regularly with concentrated powders /CP of medicinal herbs like Taraxacum officinale, Glycirrhiza glabra , Jiao Gu lan and others

* Use Tesla energy plates to improve your aura. The best is to use 2,4,6,8 or even 10 large Tesla energy plates 31 x 31 cm  every day, at least 30 min or during the night,  to restore your protective energy . Tesla energy plates have many beneficial effects on human health , to rejuvenate and protect you.

Chemtrails may also be one of the primary contributory factors in the collapse of honey bee colonies worldwide. Albert Einstein clearly knew the importance of the honey bee when he said: “If the bee disappears from the surface of the earth, man would have no more than four years to live.” There are currently three main hypothesis for the purpose of chemical spraying in the skies: weather modification, population control, and testing of biological agents on the general poplace. Even if we assume that these trails have nothing to do with eugenics or weather modification, we cannot ignore the fact that our skies are being heavily polluted with aviation fuel emissions that contribute towards a host of different health problems. As far as I’m aware, jet engines run on kerosene (paraffin). The tetra-ethyl (lead) found in aviation fuel and its combustion products are potent neurotoxins that have been shown in scientific research to interfere with brain development in children. Dear worldwide friends of Buddha Dharma, happy and blessed Medicine Buddha and Arya Tara day. In this September 2011 Alive Dharma teaching we focus on Amitabha Buddha Pure Land aspiration and on human rights & gender equality. May all be peaceful, noble and auspicious everywhere.

II.BUDDHIST SPIRITUAL * RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

2.1. AMITABHA  BUDDHA  PURE LAND ASPIRATION

 Homage to Amitabha Buddha of Infinite Light

            Alas !  Ignorant beings behave with excitements

Leading to depression .

May they learn about accumulating merit and wisdom

In their daily lives.

May they learn true prayer and meditation.

May they not be reborn in lower realms.

            Pancasila five ethic precepts, Samadhi and wisdom – prajna

Are foundation of Buddhist path toward Enlightenment.

Study and practice them diligently.

Unvirtuous karma is easy to generate,

Virtuous karma demands right effort.

                 Don´t only repeat OMITOFU or OM MANI PADME HUM ,

with empty heart, like lip service.

Have faith in Amitabha Buddha .

Who knows what will appear next :

Morning or next life.

Human life is like candle in the wind.

Very impermanent.

Be  aware of impermanence in daily life.

Life is passing. Wake up !

               Don´t live in illusion of consume:

Wisdom can not be bought.

It is good to be generous

to those who teach you  pure Dharma –

Generosity  gradually leads to wisdom.

But don´t be a snob :

Purify your ego with prostrations

to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas ,

renounce samsara.

Don´t cover your inner spiritual

Underdevelopment with illusion of consume.

                   Be honest and sincere human being.

Be simple and natural.

Inner natural beauty is more important

as artificial one .

Don´t be preoccupied with your body only.

Leave attachment to body and ordinary mind behind.

Don´t demand constant attention from others ,

This is tiring .Turn your attention inward.

                  Amitabha Buddha is watching you right now .

He sees your lotus roots covered with the mud of samsara.

Have faith and pure devotion to Buddha Amitabha.

Don´t lie to yourself and indulge in bad habits.

Don´t lie to Buddha Amitabha.

He is not only decoration piece on your altar

or picture hanging on your wall.

You can not hide anything from Him,

 He sees directly through you.

                   When you are already committed to your partner,

Develop that good potential and don´t flirt with others.

Don´t desire other men or women.

Don´t indulge in sexual misconduct

And emotional cheating.

Be honest. Be faithful. Keep your promise pure.

Don´t be interested in many men or women -

One is enough.

                    Purify bad habits :

Don´t eat meat,

Don´t drink alcohol,

Purify your energy .

Go to sleep at proper time ,

Take  natural medicine against sleeplessness .

Meditate and pray with pure heart.

Then uttering OMITOFU is meaningful,

Then prayer to Amitabha Buddha is true prayer .

                      Spiritual practice is cultivation

 of good qualities in yourself.

It is not outside superstitious worship,

Burning paper money , throwing sticks for

Good fortune in the temple…

                       Amitabha Buddha is looking at you right now :

He sees how pure or how deluded you are.

He sees right through your veils

Of unvirtuous karma from times immemorial.

He sees Buddha potential in you and

Causes of good karma from times immemorial.

                     May the Light of Amitabha Buddha touch your heart-

The best of all gifts is the Gift of Truth.

Be always open to Truth.

Amitabha Buddha is hearing you .

The explanation of right livelihood for Buddhist monks and Nuns :Neither living nor receiving food by astrology , soothsaying , prediction of future events , nor by palmistry , geomancy , dream-reading , charms and spells , or fake divination , nor by any rituals , running errands , or messages , flattering , arranging marriages , funerals or divorces , medical praxis , or by producing art or poetry , or by disputation or debate . this is right livelihood . Knowing right and wrong livelihood as right and wrong livelihood , is right view ; Awareness of presence of right and wrong livelihood , is right awareness . Exchanging wrong livelihood with right livelihood , is right effort .

Right livelihood is not only for Buddhist nuns and monks, but for all people. Of course Buddhist nuns and monks have more ethical and monastic precepts / vinaya to follow on their way toward Enlightenment. Your quotation above is very nice and correct. But in this degenerate age of Kaliyuga it is really difficult to find Buddhist monks who would live according to the right livelihood as described above. Instead we often find monks in Asia , especially Thailand who engage in all kind of supersticious practices : producing talismans, selling talismans, exorcism , charms and spells, fake divinations …all described above. We see Buddhist monks full of tattoos on their backs, some even smoking tobacco . In Tibetan monasteries we see monks debating hours and hours on the monastery courtyards. They have no time for calm abiding meditations, only study and debate, performing rituals and pujas for hours and hours. I have Buddhist monks as friends on Facebook, from South Indian Tibetan monasteries and they constantly ask me to teach them meditation. They ask for blessings . They all live busy lives in monasteries. Buddha Shakyamuni would say : Monks who engage in wrong livelihood can not reach Nibbana. Lets pary for them to turn to Right livelihood soon and proceed on the Path toward complete and perfect Enlightenment.

 Q.395 – Can lay- Buddhists do as the above verse ?

Lay Buddhists also must take great care for Right livelihood. They must not earn for a living by engaging in harmful activities, such as producing / selling of wine, meat , poisons (drugs, chemicals). Lay Buddhists = non-monastic Buddhists can earn for a living only by not harming others, by helping others , by virtuous businesses etc.

V. HUMAN RIGHTS & GENDER EQUALITY

Nowdays there are more articles and pannel discussions already about Gender Equality in Buddhism. Buit we need to put these discussions into real life : we must act with Gender Equality in daily life. I was impressed by a Buddhist nun (presented in this video) where she confessed that gender inequality creates obstacles on her spiritual path. Dear worldwide Friends of Buddha Dharma , may this Teachings find you in good health, peace, wisdom and prosperity. We focus on Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche´s advice about birth control – it is not much written and spoken about this in Buddhist centres, but influences the live of many Buddhists. II. INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR CONTEMPORARY BUDDHIST STUDIES

 2.1.Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche : BIRTH CONTROL

Nowdays birth control is widely used . Is it sinful according to the Buddhist teachings ?

        Buddhism is neither an eternalist sytem which believes in a creator of all things nor a nihilist system which holds that nothing is real beyond what can be perceived by the senses. In general, Buddhists believe that our mind is the basis and creator of all phenomena, and that all conceptions make karma or habit. Through habit many phenomena arise and the cause of these phenomena is conception or dualistic mind. Though conceptions are invisible, they continuously make karma until all conceptions finally vanish into non-dualistic mind . Although there is bad and good karma, Pandit Dipankara said : “Until all conceptions are exhausted, there is karma”. So, we should believe in the cause and result of karma. Then we should try to abandon bad karma and make good karma.

       According to the Buddhist system, there are many bad karmas, but the worst is killing, especially the killing of human beings who are support for enlightenment or the source of benefit to other sentient beings. Even though because of our ignorance we can´t abandon all bad activity, still we should abandon the worst as much as we can. We also can´t carry out all the many possible good actions, but at least we should try to fulfil the most important ones as much as possible.

      Our children are drawn to us because of previous karma, so if we use birth control, it seems that we create an obstacle to their birth . Their birth is like repayment of a loan. If we reject it, it makes bad karma and increases the loan interest. So we should try to accept our karma whether it is bad or good without disbelief in the knowledge that all phenomena are caused by karma.

       As such as we are always praying to be reborn in the jewel of a precious human body, we are constantly doing things to make obstacles for human rebirth. So mostly birth control serves the purpose of allowing us indulgence in our passions while avoiding compassion for those with whom we have established previous karmic bonds. In general people think of having many children only in terms of their present convenience , seeing children as a cause of problems and obstacles to their freedom. At first there might appear to be some immediate truth to that, but really , if we examine it sharply we can see that some people who have many children have no problems, some with many people have many problems and others with no children have no problems. It can not be foreseen.

        We also have a tendency to forget that the mind must take rebirth in one of the six realms regardless of the population in this world. Perhaps it is better to give beings in lower realms the opportunity to gain merit and attain liberation through a precious human body. Population control solves some of the material difficulties for humanity but who is to say that the poor , the wretched cannot attain liberation if given the opportunity ?  Is liberation only for those of wealth and power ? Liberation begins with a first step and it is best with a human body .

     The best way to have sexual relations is to follow the inner tantric system. First, we find a great yogi or teacher who can pass on to us his experience in high vajrayana practice. We should never have doubts about tantric system. According to this , we should practice without rejecting human birth and always, with seven exceptions, control ejaculation.

     If we can not practice this way, we should adopt the vinaya system of becoming a monk or nun, or another vow system of abstinence grounded in wearied mind and general weariness with samsara.

      Some people may think that monks and nuns by their abstinence from sex practice birth control. That in the effect is true but there is a major difference . Ordinary people who do not understand or believe in the Dharma have sexual relations to satisfy their desires , their motivation being selfish and impure , whereas monks and nuns are weary of samsara and renounce their desires in order to attain enlightenment and thereby help all sentient beings . Vajrayana practitioners as well may seem to practice birth control by using and controlling desire , but their intention is also pure. They do not have sex in an ordinary way. They visualize pure deities in their practice with the intention to attain desireless wisdom bliss, enlightenment, and to help all sentient beings.

      Intention then is what is most important. If we believe in the Dharma , then we should practice in either of these two ways or as normal married couples without forethought of preventing birth.

       I did not mean to reject birth control if it is the social custom of a country. For those who don´t belive in karma, it is not necessary to follow Buddhist belief In karma. I am speaking only of my own personal conviction.

The separation of church and state is a major principle in American public life, one that the rest of the world acknowledges and — as evinced by the Dalai Lama’s recent remarks — even admires.

This separation means collaboration with Churches and religious communities. It is not absolute separation . In Slovenia, European union we have similar model now, with Law about religious freedom.Although the constitution demands separation of state and churches/religious communities, new law of Religious freedom (from 2007) promote collaboration between both in areas such as social support for all who need help, education, research…

Many states in European union are far away from actual religious freedom. States like Italy, Austria, parts of Germany (Bavaria) have too close connection with Catholic Church . In Greece Orthodox Church is too much supported by the state. Years ago Buddhists in Greece were even put in jail because they promoted Buddhism. When Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche came to Greece / Athen airpost (1993) in Buddhist robe, to deliver Treasure vases to local Buddhists, he was not permitted to enter the country. Rinpoche returned in ordinary dress later ! This he told us at the seminar Meditation in action , organised by Buddha Dharma-OBFI in March 1994, Adria convent, Ankaran city, Slovenia.

Pure land of Vajrasattva is called Great Joy . This region is called South Styria. In German/Austrian language it is called “Heiligergeistklamm”. One can reach the Church beginning to walk slowly up through the Creek for about 1 hour. Then continue through the meadows above and went toward the settlement , in Slovenian called Sveti Duh na Ostrem vrhu. Vajrasattva holds the vajra in his right hand and a bell in his left hand.

Vajrasattva (Sanskrit: वज्रसत्त्व, Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ། – Short form is “dorsem” རྡོར་སེམས།)^[1] is a bodhisattva in the Mahayana, Mantrayana and Vajrayana buddhist traditions. In the Japanese Vajrayana school of Buddhism, Shingon, Vajrasattva is the esoteric aspect of the bodhisattva Samantabhadra and is commonly associated with the student practitioner who through the master’s teachings, attains an ever-enriching subtle and rarefied grounding in their esoteric practice. In Tibetan Buddhism Vajrasattva is associated with the Dharmakaya and also with purification practice.

Vajrasattva appears principally in two Buddhists texts: the Mahavairocana Sutra and the Vajrasekhara Sutra. In the Diamond Realm Mandala, Vajrasattva sits to the East near Akshobhya Buddha.

In some esoteric lineages, Nagarjuna was said to have met Vajrasattva in an iron tower in South India, and was taught tantra, thus transmitting the esoteric teachings to more historical figures.^[2]

Vajrasattva’ (Tibetan: Dorje Sempa, Japanese: Kongōsatta, Chinese: 金剛薩埵 Jīn gāng sà duǒ) is a bodhisattva in the Mahayana and Vajrayana buddhist traditions. Vajrasattva’s name translates to Diamond Mind or Thunderbolt Mind.

Shingon Buddhism

In the Shingon Buddhist lineage, Vajrasattva is traditionally viewed as the second patriarch, the first being Vairocana Buddha himself. According to Kukai‘s writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission he relates a story based on Amoghavajra‘s account that Nagarjuna met Vajrasattva in an iron tower in southern India. Vajrasattva initiated Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ritual and entrusted him with the esoteric he had learned from Vairocana Buddha, as depicted in the Mahavairocana Sutra. Kukai does not elaborate further on Vajrasattva or his origins.^[2]

Elsewhere, Vajrasattva is an important figure in two esoteric Buddhist sutras, the Mahavairocana Sutra and the Vajrasekhara Sutra. In the first chapter of the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasattva leads a host of beings who visit Vairocana Buddha to learn the Dharma. Vajrasattva inquires about the cause, goal and foundation of all-embracing wisdom, which leads to a philosophical discourse by the Buddha. The audience cannot comprehend the teaching, so the Buddha demonstrates through the use mandala. Vajrasattva then questions why rituals and objects are needed if the truth is beyond form. Vairocana Buddha replies to Vajrasattva that these are expedient means to bring practitioners to experience awakening more readily, and so on. In Shingon Buddhist rituals for initiation, the kechien kanjō, the initiate re-enacts the role of Vajrasattva and recites mantra and dialogue from the sutras above. The Maha Acharya enacts the role of Mahavairocana Buddha bestowing wisdom upon the student.^[2]

Vajrayana  Buddhism

In Vajrayana  Buddhism the Vajrasattva root tantra is Dorje Gyan, or ‘Vajra Ornament’.^[3] Vajrasattva practices are common to all of the four schools of Tibetan Buddhism and are used both to purify obscurations so that the Vajrayana student can progress beyond Ngondro practices to the various yoga practices of tantra and also to purify any broken samaya vows after initiation. As such, Vajrasattva practice is an essential element of Tibetan Buddhist practice.

In addition to personal practice, the Vajrasattva mantra is regarded as having the ability to purify karma, bring peace, and cause enlightened activity in general. Following the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche announced a project, Prayer 4 Peace, to accumulate one billion six syllable Vajrasattva recitations by practitioners around the world. The six syllable mantra (OM VAJRASATTVA HUM), is a less formal version of the one hundred syllable mantra on which it is based but contains the essential spiritual points of the longer mantra, according to lama and tulku Jamgon Kongtrul.^[4]

Hundred Syllable Mantra

In Vajrayana Buddhist practice, Vajrasattva is used in the Ngondro, or preliminary practices, in order to “purify” the mind’s defilements, prior to undertaking more advanced tantric techniques. The ‘yik gya’, the ‘Hundred Syllable Mantra’ (Tibetan: ཡིག་བརྒྱ; Wylie: yig brgya) supplication of Vajrasattva, approaches universality in the various elementary Ngondro sadhana for sadhakas of all Mantrayana and Sarma schools bar the Bonpo. The pronunciation and orthography differ between lineages.

Longchen Nyingtig

The evocation of the Hundred Syllable Mantra in the Mantrayana lineage of Jigme Lingpa‘s (1729–1798) Ngondro from the Longchen Nyingtig sports Sanskrit-Tibetan hybridization, such textual and dialectical ‘diglossia‘ (Sanskrit: dvaibhashika) is evident from the earliest transmission of tantra into the Himalaya where the Sanskrit phonemes and lexical items are often orthographically rendered in the Tibetan, rather than the comparable indigenous terms (Davidson, 2002).^[5] Though Jigme Lingpa did not ‘compose’ the Hundred Syllable Mantra, his scribal style bears a marked similarity to it as evidenced by his biographies (Gyatso, 1998).^[6] Jigme Lingpa as ‘pandit‘, which in the Himalayan context denotes an indigenous Tibetan versed in Sanskrit, often wrote in a hybridized Sanskrit-Tibetan diglossia.

Dzogchen

‘The Mirror of the Heart of Vajrasattva‘ (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ་སྙིང་གི་མེ་ལོང; Wylie: rdo rje sems dpa’ snying gi me long) is one of the Seventeen Tantras of Dzogchen Upadesha.^[7]

Samantabhadra discourses to Vajrasattva and in turn Vajrasattva asks questions of Samantabhadra in clarification in the Kulayaraja Tantra (Wyl. kun byed rgyal po; Tib. künjé gyalpo) or ‘The All-Creating King Tantra’, the main tantra of the Mind Series of Dzogchen.^[8]
